Where can I find a proof for R^d is unbounded?

    What is a d cell?

      Hi,
These are defined starting on Slide 15, after the discussion of intervals, rectangles and cuboids. The d-cells are the d-dimensional analogues of these. You could also think of them as hyper-cuboids, except that we do also allow unbounded d-cells, just as there are various types of unbounded interval in the real line.
Some authors just call them d-dimensional intervals instead, but I prefer d-cell.
