Bad Shoe Trees Can Deform Your Shoes

- This is not a sales tactic. In reality, I don't care what products you buy. But I do feel the need to inform you of the pitfalls of your choices and tell you what the salesmen (who earn commission) won't.
The reality is that certain cheap shoe trees can deform your nice shoes. If you only wear junk ones, then no sweat, buy the cheap shoe trees. But if you purchase nice leather dress shoes and see them as an investment not only in yourself but also in your wardrobe, then it is best you have all of the necessary information to make an informed decision.
The reality is that a bad shoe tree can deform your shoes. Listen how.

Having shoe trees to show would boost this video.
Yea I get it. I often make the blog post with pics. These videos are really shot for IG and I share them here. I dont always have the thing I am talking about on hand either.

Because you’re an amateur and always will be Justin, ALWAYS.
@@___1980. hahahahhahaha - keep my views up by commenting nonsense.
@@___1980. WT?
@@theshoesnob_officialimages from the Internet or links to the shoe trees you're referring to that are a good quality would be beneficial. On hand would be better but at least an image so we know what to look for or lynx so we know what to look for would make this video better
I have a pair of loafers from Cheaney & Sons, that a set of trees from AE/Woodlore fit perfectly; no give, slack or play between the shoe and tree. The same trees were not anywhere close to filling a pair of Carmina loafers. Yes, there is a difference in most cases. Thanks for bringing this up to your viewers.
My pleasure Arthur, thanks for sharing!
@@theshoesnob_official Oh and one more thing Justin, David Goggins (spell check) said that you will never meet a hater that is more successful than you.
@@arthurcatalanotto1151 thanks Arthur and yes 100% true because haters are just jealous and successful people don't have time to hate others nor the desire to waste energy on it ;-) thanks as always for your support
I prefer to buy shoes from companies that also offer lasted shoe trees in the same exact style of last that the shoe was made in.
@@oscar-k6f fair enough
I have spring loaded cedar shoe trees size 9 uk eu 43 and they fit my shoes perfectly. They keep my shoes in great condition. The really crap ones are those with the long bendy spring that creates an arch out of the shoe.
Yea cedar spring loaded arent bad with a single piece front. Its the sharp edged ones with a two piece small head that are no good. And yes those other omes are even worse as you said
The biggest joke is that Alden sells this shit for $40 and nobody bats an eyelid, thinking that those are the best to go with their overpriced shoes.
Yup
That is why Im a fan of Vass ( and yours too) for not ridiculously overpriced shoestrees. I always pay for last shoestrees whenever I can but damn, it hurts sometimes, especially with brands like Crockett & Jones
I appreciate that. I honestly make a very low profit on them to keep them reasonable.
It’s not just Nordstrom….looking at you, Woodlore.
i have tons and tons of the woodlore trees - that's what grant stone has, and i assumed that they were good.
@@geneschwartz5422 if Grant Stone sells you a pair of trees with your boots I think you’re gonna be fine. If you buy Woodlore trees from Amazon, they’re often made for multiple sizes (ex. L, for sizes 9-11) and those are the issue.
Omg! I have to throw out all my shoe trees!
He’s right, but his rants make him even more egotistical, rather than sounding calm and collective (educated) Try doing business with him 😒😒😒
Lol - keep worrying about what I am doing.
I've asked Justin questions and he's always been nothing but pleasant to talk to. I mean he might be a weirdo outside of the internet but I'm not trying to date him
@@Dominicreviews lol, that was funny. I am even more normal outside of the internet. Thanks for the kind words. The original commenter was my biggest fan turned my biggest hater accusing me of selling him a 'cover up' shoe (made two pairs as 1st was the wrong color, claimed the 2nd pair was just the 1st pair recolored) and went off on my business partner. All false and even showed him the both pairs yet still claimed I was lying, Super-unhinged. Yet still follows me for some reason. Go figure.

He wasn’t your biggest fan! But he’ll let you know it anytime he gets a chance to comment on your arrogance, you’ll never know how to produce quality, rather speak about it on all levels, walk the walk and not talk the talk and start producing and controlling your sub-par factories in Spain 🇪🇸 Clown
