Never operate the remote control while the engine is running, if you switch off the battery when the engine is active, the alternator may have problems according to the AI chatgpt.
I have one on 2000 Toyota tundra but shutting off computer has to adjust then shuts off so I learned I go on/off on/off then it works how do I keep computer and radio with power when shit off mine mounted on positive side of battery no room on negative I have to adjust radio and apps each time need help it says can mount on positive or negative side help me out thanks
If you keep the computer on, or the radio on, it may cause the battery drain too, because this could be the reason the battery discharge, I don't think it makes a difference if you install it to positive or negative. In your case I would try to find a problem that causes the battery drain, or maybe the battery itself is bad and doesn't hold charge
@@mechanictechniks5809 it was actually the relay box cover it was keeping the contact closed when I would go to open it so had to open it and cut off the little plastic stuff inside and close it back up
For bmw it will not work because you can't disconnect the battery while the vehicle is locked because it will trigger alarm system, and it has a spare battery for alarm 750i 2009

Weird I wired it up the same way and for some reason my car light will still stay on even after pressing off but you can hear the solenoid click
Maybe your car has another battery? If you disconnect the battery manually do light go off or stay on the same way?

But if it cuts the power the alarm doesn’t work??
Yes everything turns off, but this could also be a security for your car, that people will not start your car
