Let me explain. Under the current system it cost exactly 500 lesser blooms = 100 greater blooms = 20 epic blooms to 6 star a hero. This is a 5:1 ratio across the board. However when using the fodder and transmit method it cost 350 lesser blooms or 70 lesser blooms and 80 greater blooms to make a 6 star along side gold and penguins. Instead of a 5:1 ratio this is a 3.5:1 ratio going from lesser to greater blooms and a 4:1 ratio going from greater to epic blooms. The next thing to consider is gold and penguins needed for this. On average with the sanctuary fully maxed out it’s around 225 penguins or 2.2 million exp (70% chance for newbie penguin, 27% chance for experienced penguins, and 3% chance for epic) to make one 6 star. Along with 400k gold. Converting this all to stigma that’s about 82,450 stigma for a 6 star + 400k gold. 59,500 Stigma = 350 lesser blooms 22, 950 Stigma on average = 225 penguins 59,500 + 22,950 = 82,450 stigma on average to get a 6 star from scratch with 0 resources. You can use this method which will possibly net you gold in penguins or simply buy 20 epic blooms for 85k stigma. Another thing to consider is Stigma cost in sanctuary which I have math below. Another thing is that to promote 2 star fodder to 3 star and transmit them requires friendship bookmarks which are hard to consistently summon with or farming in campaign which means your losing out on AP that could be obtained in Unrecorded history(UR). He didn’t go as far as me, but I did ask him to make a new video on 6 starring that goes even further on whether you should buy blooms from sanctuary or transmit 3 star heroes for blooms. I’m quite sure you should just spend stigma to buy blooms from sanctuary either lesser or epic to 6 star because when you transmit heroes your destroying a unit that can be promoted. Instead of just using 14 blooms to promote that 3 star to 4 star to get 4 greater blooms your destroying a 3 star and using the blooms you get from that to supplement another hero. I thought that turning a 4-star into a 5-star, if we sell the 4-star straight away, we gain 4 greater blossom and to evolve we lose 16 to get 4 epic blossom, if we'd sold the 4-star immediately, we don't lose 16 greater blossom and won 4 greater blossom, so we got 20 greater blossom, it's the same as 4 epic blossom, so all the pinguins used will have been useless. Wouldn't it be profitable to sell the 4 stars without upgrading them to 5 stars? You need 100 greater blooms which is equal to 20 Epic blooms in order to 6 star. If you transmit five 4 stars you get 20 greater blooms which will be converted under a 5:1 ratio to get 4 epic blooms. If you take a 4 star to 5 star it cost 16 greater blooms, but what your promoting into is worth 4 greater blooms meaning it’s actually just 20 greater blooms that this is all worth which is the same exact thing as transmitting five 4 stars into greater blooms then converting them except your spending resources to level the 4 star up and then promote it. When it comes to 3 stars though if you transmit 4 of them you get 16 lesser blooms which under the conversion method will be a 5:1 ratio meaning if you convert this your getting 3 greater blooms and some left over lessers. However if you use the fodder and transmit method to 4 star this you are using four 3 stars to make a 4 star which is 16 lesser blooms and you are receiving 4 greater which is a 4:1 ratio meaning instead of using 20 lessees to get 4 greater blooms. Your using 16 lesser to get 4 greater alongside a bit of penguins and gold which is pretty negligent. I hope I’m doing this right and it makes sense. As a conclusion if you do this from scrach and instead of 5 starting units you just transmit them at 4 star here’s the results. 2 star -> 3 star = 2 lesser blooms + 10k good and 3 newbie penguins. 3 star -> 4 star = 12 lesser blooms + 20k gold + 9 newbie penguins. This will give you 4 greater blooms each Time and under the conversion method you need 100 so you would need to do this 25 times which will net once converted 20 epic blooms which are needed to 6 star. If you multiply each step 25 times you end up with a grand total of: 2 star -> 3 star cost = 50 lesser blooms + 250k gold + 75 newbie penguins 3 star -> 4 star cost = 300 lesser blooms + 500k gold + 225 newbie penguins Under this logic if this is correct. In total this would cost 350 lesser blooms + 750k gold + 300 penguins to 6 star by transmitting 4 stars and then converting. The penguin count is if you always got the newbie penguin/ lowest rarity one. The 300 penguins are equivalent to 1,650,000 million exp. With normal rates considered this would only be 168.5 penguins or 169 rounding up. Converting the penguins to stigma and blooms to stigma it would cost on average: 350 lesser blooms x 170 stigma = 59,500 169 penguins x 102 stigma =17,238 In total this is 76,738 stigma on average to 6 star using this method. This is both more efficient then just buying 20 epic blooms and foddering until you hit 5 star like I explained in my first comment. Thank for the question. I think I’ve fixed my error. This should be the best method if I did this correctly. Truthfully I feel like when it comes to efficiency it truly comes down to the number of runs it takes to attain these resources because that’s the source of all these resources. Compared to the method I explained in my first comment, this one requires more gold, but less stigma which I think will be more beneficial to people considering lots of players at endgame are overflowing with gold. I also feel like each method is dependent on where your at. Looking at the gold difference it cost 400k gold in old method, but with this one it’s 750k I’f we converted this into stigma through penguins. Assuming we have the worst luck it’s equivalent to: Newbie penguin= 6,000 gold which is 102 stigma each. 750k/ 6,000 = 125 penguins( 687,500 exp) with worst luck With normal rate best luck is: 70.2 or 71 penguins technically. Converting normal rate of penguins into stigma we get 7,242 stigma average Adding this to the previous total It actually cost in stigma 83,980 Stigma. Honestly these two methods are about the same, but what I think truly matters is not the actual stigma cost, but the amount of runs needed to attain the different resources. Whichever method takes the least amount of runs is truly the best for any player, but depending on your current game state one method may be better then another depending on if your a beginner or a endgame player. IN CONCLUSION, seriously this time I believe this method is actually better for a couple of reasons. First off the resources needed are spread more widely. It cost less stigma, but requires more gold. Instead of being such an insanely high stigma cost and a low gold cost it a lower stigma cost with a higher gold cost. Another reason is that it cost less penguins while maintaining the same outcome as the previous method I explained. One downside of this method though is that if your spamming less penguins you have a lower chance of getting silver transmits from selling Epic penguins and gold. In my opinion it’s all up to you guys, the player to decide what your preference is though. Honestly I think I’m going to try this method. man i just returned to e7 and the way the spirit blooms work was so confusing and im here having over 50,000 stigma to buy the spirit blooms and you my man just changed my whole idea on how to get 6 stars and it saves me so much stamina.. Big thanks for the tip honestly
Like your guide to the 6 star promoting! The one thing you definitely overlooked is that when you try to promote 5 stars, if you don’t have enough epic blooms, the system will inform you of any potential lesser blooms you can combine together to create enough epic blooms needed to promote. So there really isn’t any need to level, then promote fodder. You can easily just transmat fodder and get some easy lesser blooms. Imprinting units will also refund blooms to you as well, so keep that in mind 👍🏻
You're spending a lot of penguins and time to do this. 4 epic blooms is equivalent to 80 lesser blooms + 16 greaters, so you're only netting 10 lesser blooms for 155 penguins. You're basically gambling your time and penguins hoping for a refund on those penguins.

promote your 2 star food to 3 star and then, recall them, you with get back 4 low flower after spend 2 low flower, this is best way and fastest way because it's double profit and all you need to do is farm or Peguin your 2 star food and promote up to 3 star, then recall. i calculated and have a result that if i recall 4 star food, i will cost a lot of time to farm or Peguin, spend 14 low flow and only take back 4 medium flower = 20 low flower ( 5 low flow =1 medium flow )
I've been using this method, also by levelling the fodder on advent unrecorded history runs to save penguin and gold with that. I got a huge backlog of characters to star up, so its the only way to get it faster. I don't mind to spend the gold to level up fodders since the cost for that is the same as before with the doggo system.
Or you can do the solo banshee Fluri method to level fodder and not use penguins at all. That way you can level up fodder in the background, spend energy for daily hunts and do other stuff while it runs in the background.
Idk about fluri but if anyone in this reply section sees this, you can solo bug hunt lvl 11 with a lifesteal CZerato on violin or fairytale for leveling your fodders as well
@@narane7 there is a way to walk 1 non max unit but im not gonna get into since i dont feel like typing all the math down to break it down for you. ive broke it down to my views 3 times on my steam not gonna do it again via text but sure you can buy penguins if you like that works good also

I'm not particulary convinced this is the best. Do you really spend fewer stigma by buying penguins and the silver blooms for this process instead of just directly buying however many silver blooms you need to directly 6*? And the added gold cost which adds up. Although now that I thinka bout it you do get silver transmits this way. Maybe I just need to rewatch the video in case I missed something.
@@j4pinha Since the new changes farming stigma is best method for gold actually. You get a lot of stigma in UH and adventure which you can turn into penguins and sell, you get significantly more than by doing hunts.

Yes about 59k stigma for 6 star all this is to save stigma I'm go make a follow up with feed back and show exactly what I'm doing because I also didn't take into consideration what if the players don't have resources. Why upgrading a 4 to 5 star is a loss of exp and blooms it a decision you have to make also it is cheaper to promote five 5 star units to four star and transmute four of them for 16 greater rather then spending the 8,500 stigma four 10
@@dauxgaming577 if I wasn't lazy I would be doing this method, but I don't need stigma nor I need to promote heroes anymore since I've been playing for ages. On top of that the new system gives you free blooms for memory imprint of characters so you will get a very decent income of them for promoting heroes you will need (not to mention dupe event characters will give full 20 epic blooms), it is nice having all of them on 6* but you don't need them (on top of extra gear being a whole other hell) so the inconvenience of how convoluted this is, sometimes isn't worth it to just spend the extra 20k stigma
I understand this new promotion system is supposedly more "efficient", due to clearing clutter in your barracks. But, it's overall one of the single worst changes this game has undergone (in my opinion). The biggest boon of the previous system was the fact that you can use your dupe 4* and 5* to be promotional fodder whilst double dipping in the memory imprint. It bothers me to hell seeing a 5* with imprints on it not being promoted because I had to accumulate my blooms on someone else when it could've been used on that unit. Plus, passively gaining penguins rewarded your efforts for playing the game with your optimal 4-person party in all game modes, which made building overall heroes better, and leveling fodder more efficiently for promotion. But now, you are actively forced to use a stigma to do either or, with the overall bloom output from both events and shops being significantly lesser in value compared to just getting dogs. It's just extra steps for no reason. And guess what, we still get rewarded the same 2* fodder that clogs our barracks up anyway which we use for the literal same reasons dogs do without the exp bonus gains. It seems so asinine to go backwards when all they really needed to do is make dogs a separate entity like penguins were in order to streamline hero promotion. But now they pulled the true ass-backwards decision to fully cash in on this inferior system that is so freaking confusing. If someone wants to enlighten me, in a simple way that doesn't require a calc spreadsheet, as to why this system is somehow better that would be great. But otherwise, this system truly destroys my motivation to build and play, plus demoralizes new players from continuing in my eyes.
You still get blooms when you imprint, and it still gives you enough mats to promote. You just don't need to hold on 4/5 units to merge them all at the same time, but if you do, you get enough mats to promote immediately. I'm a little puzzled as to why you think you don't get mats for it now.
Although this method is a way to abuse the system , it takes way too much time to reach to 5* those who have a potato device will have to spend literal hrs to get 20 blooms
i'm actually using this method right now, but i dont lvl up with pengy chans, i love to save them, i use expeditions from sanctuary. Is it longer? Yes. But i can save pinguins for some time later, to upgrade my real heroes to lvl 60.
Got back into the game recently after noticing the change in doggos honestly it feels the same they just changed it's property so it saves space but still requires wasting energy/penguins/some stigma sadly.
Uhm, there's no point in leveling above 3 stars. Just recall the 3 stars straight away. You gain nothing extra. And if you want to be REALLY optimal, dog walk your fodder to 2* max, then level it, THEN tramsit it. No penguins needed. No stigma. You invest 2 white blooms and get 4 back. Thats 100% gain over what you invested. You basically create blooms out of thin air. No gold spent. No stigma. No penguins.
It's not even that worth it , because you're spending penguins that is Gold as well, and getting to 4 star you spend something around 14 white and 16 yellow which is 18 yellow , that is 3 purple and 3 yellow and there's the penguins which could be actually gold and you will need to buy yellow so you will have to spend some stigma as well on the yellows and the penguins
I have a lot of lesser, and you know we can combine them when you don't have enough of greater or epic bloom and this option appears, but I don't know if I should do this combine method or do what you are doing. What should I do?
The real answer is when you get to max level on a unit for their rank EG. 3 star = lv 30 max, the experience you gain overflows and this fills an exp bar that when full grants a penguin. As players who plays into mid game you will do a ton of unrecorded history to gain catalysts and specialty change units. stage 30+ is highest exp per stage.
putting out videos that are wrong is youtubes speciality. why think before making a guide? last video i watched some guy was claiming you can no longer promote monster units in the game.wasted like two hours on this subject now lol.
Friend take advantage of the bug while you can , they will surely change this , I am sure of them we will have to try to raise as many heroes to six before they remove it . because that won't last long

This will give you 4 greater blooms each Time and under the conversion method you need 100 so you would need to do this 25 times which will net once converted 20 epic blooms which are needed to 6 star.
If you multiply each step 25 times you end up with a grand total of:
2 star -> 3 star cost = 50 lesser blooms + 250k gold + 75 newbie penguins
3 star -> 4 star cost = 300 lesser blooms + 500k gold + 225 newbie penguins
Under this logic if this is correct.
In total this would cost 350 lesser blooms + 750k gold + 300 penguins to 6 star by transmitting 4 stars and then converting.
The penguin count is if you always got the newbie penguin/ lowest rarity one. The 300 penguins are equivalent to 1,650,000 million exp.
With normal rates considered this would only be 168.5 penguins or 169 rounding up.
Converting the penguins to stigma and blooms to stigma it would cost on average:
350 lesser blooms x 170 stigma = 59,500
169 penguins x 102 stigma =17,238
In total this is 76,738 stigma on average to 6 star using this method. This is both more efficient then just buying 20 epic blooms and foddering until you hit 5 star like I explained in my first comment.

Truthfully I feel like when it comes to efficiency it truly comes down to the number of runs it takes to attain these resources because that’s the source of all these resources. Compared to the method I explained in my first comment, this one requires more gold, but less stigma which I think will be more beneficial to people considering lots of players at endgame are overflowing with gold. I also feel like each method is dependent on where your at.
Looking at the gold difference it cost 400k gold in old method, but with this one it’s 750k I’f we converted this into stigma through penguins. Assuming we have the worst luck it’s equivalent to:
Newbie penguin= 6,000 gold which is 102 stigma each.
750k/ 6,000 = 125 penguins( 687,500 exp) with worst luck
With normal rate best luck is: 70.2 or 71 penguins technically.
Converting normal rate of penguins into stigma we get 7,242 stigma average
Adding this to the previous total
It actually cost in stigma 83,980 Stigma.
Honestly these two methods are about the same, but what I think truly matters is not the actual stigma cost, but the amount of runs needed to attain the different resources. Whichever method takes the least amount of runs is truly the best for any player, but depending on your current game state one method may be better then another depending on if your a beginner or a endgame player.
IN CONCLUSION, seriously this time I believe this method is actually better for a couple of reasons. First off the resources needed are spread more widely. It cost less stigma, but requires more gold. Instead of being such an insanely high stigma cost and a low gold cost it a lower stigma cost with a higher gold cost. Another reason is that it cost less penguins while maintaining the same outcome as the previous method I explained. One downside of this method though is that if your spamming less penguins you have a lower chance of getting silver transmits from selling Epic penguins and gold. In my opinion it’s all up to you guys, the player to decide what your preference is though. Honestly I think I’m going to try this method. It does seem better overall because the resources aren’t all in one basket anymore.

Long story short, promote 2* fodder to 3* and then, recall them. With that method, you spend 2 low level flowers and get 4 back.
man i just returned to e7 and the way the spirit blooms work was so confusing and im here having over 50,000 stigma to buy the spirit blooms and you my man just changed my whole idea on how to get 6 stars and it saves me so much stamina.. Big thanks for the tip honestly
Like your guide to the 6 star promoting! The one thing you definitely overlooked is that when you try to promote 5 stars, if you don’t have enough epic blooms, the system will inform you of any potential lesser blooms you can combine together to create enough epic blooms needed to promote. So there really isn’t any need to level, then promote fodder. You can easily just transmat fodder and get some easy lesser blooms. Imprinting units will also refund blooms to you as well, so keep that in mind 👍🏻

You're spending a lot of penguins and time to do this. 4 epic blooms is equivalent to 80 lesser blooms + 16 greaters, so you're only netting 10 lesser blooms for 155 penguins. You're basically gambling your time and penguins hoping for a refund on those penguins.
My issue is lack of penguins now. This new system is terrible.

promote your 2 star food to 3 star and then, recall them, you with get back 4 low flower after spend 2 low flower, this is best way and fastest way because it's double profit and all you need to do is farm or Peguin your 2 star food and promote up to 3 star, then recall. i calculated and have a result that if i recall 4 star food, i will cost a lot of time to farm or Peguin, spend 14 low flow and only take back 4 medium flower = 20 low flower ( 5 low flow =1 medium flow )
I've been using this method, also by levelling the fodder on advent unrecorded history runs to save penguin and gold with that. I got a huge backlog of characters to star up, so its the only way to get it faster. I don't mind to spend the gold to level up fodders since the cost for that is the same as before with the doggo system.
Or you can do the solo banshee Fluri method to level fodder and not use penguins at all. That way you can level up fodder in the background, spend energy for daily hunts and do other stuff while it runs in the background.

sadly the only problem with this is getting penguins cuz u kno they remove the penguin system so if u got no penguins its back to walking units

You get a lot of stigma in UH and adventure which you can turn into penguins and sell, you get significantly more than by doing hunts.

i got these calculations, although correct me if i'm wrong:
-summon fodder
-summon lesser blooms
-transfer at 4* (5* is more expensive due to levelling costs)
intended cost of blooms - 20 epic - 100 greater - 500 lesser = 25 lesser per epic = 170 * 25 (growth altar) = 4250 stigma
total cost of promotion = 85000 stigma
optimal cost of blooms = 2 (promoting 2 star) + 12 (promoting 3 star) = 14 lesser per epic -→ 14 * 170 (growth altar) = 2380 stigma (per 4 greater blooms)
cost of penguins from lv20 -→ lv30 = 46950 (exp required) / 9790 (average exp yield from growth altar) * 102 ≈ 510 (46950 / 9790 ≈ 4.8, rounded to 5 penguins, * cost of growth altar)
cost of penguins from lv5 -→ lv20 = 14775 / 9790 * 102 ≈ 204 (14775 / 9790 ≈ 1.5, rounded to 2 penguins, * cost of growth altar)
total cost of promotion = 2380 * 5/4 (conversion from greater to epic) * 20 + (510 + 204) * 5 (number of units needed to transfer) = 63070 stigma (on average)
if the last part of the math is confusing:
2380 (4 greater blooms) * 5 (conversion to 4 epic blooms) = 11900
11900 (4 epic blooms) * 5 (because you need 20 epics) = 59500
add cost of penguins and you get 63070
Yes about 59k stigma for 6 star all this is to save stigma I'm go make a follow up with feed back and show exactly what I'm doing because I also didn't take into consideration what if the players don't have resources.
Why upgrading a 4 to 5 star is a loss of exp and blooms it a decision you have to make also it is cheaper to promote five 5 star units to four star and transmute four of them for 16 greater rather then spending the 8,500 stigma four 10
@@dauxgaming577 if I wasn't lazy I would be doing this method, but I don't need stigma nor I need to promote heroes anymore since I've been playing for ages.
On top of that the new system gives you free blooms for memory imprint of characters so you will get a very decent income of them for promoting heroes you will need (not to mention dupe event characters will give full 20 epic blooms), it is nice having all of them on 6* but you don't need them (on top of extra gear being a whole other hell) so the inconvenience of how convoluted this is, sometimes isn't worth it to just spend the extra 20k stigma

I understand this new promotion system is supposedly more "efficient", due to clearing clutter in your barracks. But, it's overall one of the single worst changes this game has undergone (in my opinion).
The biggest boon of the previous system was the fact that you can use your dupe 4* and 5* to be promotional fodder whilst double dipping in the memory imprint. It bothers me to hell seeing a 5* with imprints on it not being promoted because I had to accumulate my blooms on someone else when it could've been used on that unit. Plus, passively gaining penguins rewarded your efforts for playing the game with your optimal 4-person party in all game modes, which made building overall heroes better, and leveling fodder more efficiently for promotion. But now, you are actively forced to use a stigma to do either or, with the overall bloom output from both events and shops being significantly lesser in value compared to just getting dogs. It's just extra steps for no reason. And guess what, we still get rewarded the same 2* fodder that clogs our barracks up anyway which we use for the literal same reasons dogs do without the exp bonus gains. It seems so asinine to go backwards when all they really needed to do is make dogs a separate entity like penguins were in order to streamline hero promotion. But now they pulled the true ass-backwards decision to fully cash in on this inferior system that is so freaking confusing.
If someone wants to enlighten me, in a simple way that doesn't require a calc spreadsheet, as to why this system is somehow better that would be great. But otherwise, this system truly destroys my motivation to build and play, plus demoralizes new players from continuing in my eyes.
You still get blooms when you imprint, and it still gives you enough mats to promote. You just don't need to hold on 4/5 units to merge them all at the same time, but if you do, you get enough mats to promote immediately. I'm a little puzzled as to why you think you don't get mats for it now.

TLDR: spend 6 000 000 gold and 500 fodders to get 20 epic blooms.

Although this method is a way to abuse the system , it takes way too much time to reach to 5* those who have a potato device will have to spend literal hrs to get 20 blooms
i'm actually using this method right now, but i dont lvl up with pengy chans, i love to save them, i use expeditions from sanctuary. Is it longer? Yes. But i can save pinguins for some time later, to upgrade my real heroes to lvl 60.
Got back into the game recently after noticing the change in doggos honestly it feels the same they just changed it's property so it saves space but still requires wasting energy/penguins/some stigma sadly.
Uhm, there's no point in leveling above 3 stars. Just recall the 3 stars straight away. You gain nothing extra.
And if you want to be REALLY optimal, dog walk your fodder to 2* max, then level it, THEN tramsit it. No penguins needed. No stigma. You invest 2 white blooms and get 4 back. Thats 100% gain over what you invested. You basically create blooms out of thin air. No gold spent. No stigma. No penguins.
so instead of upgrading dogs i have to upgrade fodder so i can sell/use lvl5 fodder to get the most of it?
It's not even that worth it , because you're spending penguins that is Gold as well, and getting to 4 star you spend something around 14 white and 16 yellow which is 18 yellow , that is 3 purple and 3 yellow and there's the penguins which could be actually gold and you will need to buy yellow so you will have to spend some stigma as well on the yellows and the penguins

The real answer is when you get to max level on a unit for their rank EG. 3 star = lv 30 max, the experience you gain overflows and this fills an exp bar that when full grants a penguin. As players who plays into mid game you will do a ton of unrecorded history to gain catalysts and specialty change units. stage 30+ is highest exp per stage.
