Loooved this. Nier has one of my favorite game tracks like, ever. English lyri translations usually don't work super well with a song this fast, but you really made them make sense, and really drove home the emotion in the song. You sounded super pretty on this, great cover!
Remember when Devola said this song originally referred to the two sacred books of Grimoire Noir and Grimoire Weiss? This translation is way better. It refers to the desperate lifeline of mankind during the time of the Nier Replicant and Gestalt. Epic.
Love this even more now. I first heard this a year ago I think, and even back then I found it to be amazing. After playing NieR Automata, and learning more about them, your cover becomes even more amazing. You nailed down their strife, and the importance of them being 'twin' models.
7 years later and I just see this, what a magnificent work you did here. So tough to create the lyrics and then making it rhyme where I can feel if goes just like the original with made up lyrics. Nicely done!!!

as Devola puts it, a black book brings upon calamity in the world, a white book then appears and saves the world, i do recommend you play the game though, it just came out on ps4 and ps5 (anddd xbox, and pc, as the remake, “Nier Replicant”)

I didn't think Nier could get anymore tragic. The English version made me melancholic again.
