🦊 🐾 Lovely wrap up! You read some good ones and the film you take of food always makes me hungry! I love your reading-one-chapter-a-day method for the Lord of the Rings series, I may try this with some of the books I have that seem too daunting. See you in June! xx
I always look forward to this! It's become a nice cosy ritual at the start of the new month, and this time Cherry Bakewell cookies were the snack of choice! 🍪 😃 Wishing you a healthy June and happy reading! 🦊
Great video and especially when you've been so poorly too! 🦊 Glad it wasn't the 🤧 emoji but in seriousness, hope you're better soon. Also read The Appeal this month. Liked the way it kept me on my toes remembering who's who. Certainly a brain workout 😂 I love books that are written in correspondence. My mum always wanted me to pick up 84 Charing Cross Road. I really must soon. Take care Victoria xx😊
So sorry you’ve been unwell! It’s so difficult to be a teacher in the first place-teaching with any physical ailment is a whole other level! Keeping my fingers crossed for your new home.🦊
Fab vlog, glad you're feeling a bit better and really pleased you had a great time with your Mum. I love the sound of The Burial Plot, really looking forward to it coming out in paperback x 🦊
I liked vol 3 of lore olympus and that conversation in particular as well. I do agree it didn't move the story forwards much otherwise though! I do want to try annie bot as well, so I'm glad to hear it was such a solid read. So happy you enjoyed can't spell treason without tea so much! I'm looking forward to trying days at the morisaki bookshop but a shame you only found it just okay. Love a miss marple book!
looks like a lovely time away with your Mum, what a beautiful cat! glad to see you’re mostly feeling better now, and 39 books is a great balance for your TBR! well done ♥️🦊
🦊🦊🦊I just recently discovered your channel and have been watching several of your videos. I just want to tell you when I heard you describe your depression as being in remission, it brought tears to my eyes. I have never heard any other person other than myself describe it that way. Even my therapist looked at me quizzically when I described it that way. I also have Generalized Anxiety Disorder too - my heart goes out to you so much! 💜😺🐈⬛
I'm so glad that you're feeling better now, as someone with chronic migraines I get the headache struggle! It looks like you had a really nice time away with your mum too 💙💙
As someone who has lived in Bristol for years I feel like most parts aren't great to film in for b footage 😂 Codine isn’t great it didn't make me feel great when I had to take it. I have had the appeal on my shelves for years. You have made me want to pick it up soon. A day reading in a hammock sounds AMAZING! 😊 Wow 15 books in a month is amazing! 🦊
🦊 I hope you're feeling better. That headache sounded horrendous. I've had the first Thursday Murder Club and The Appeal on my TBR for ages! Aaand the first two Miss Marple books. Maybe I should do a British mysteries reading month... Happy reading in June and thanks for the lovely vlog!
SO HAPPY you enjoyed Annie Bot, i thought it would be a great way to dip your toes in a touch of sci -fi. I have it 5 stars, but i agree it was navel-gazey and lagged just a bit in the middle. Glad you're feeling better ♥️
I remember that volume of The Famous Five was one of my least favorite ones too, it was just a bit strange :- D I remember that another questionable volume might be coming up within the first 10 volumes if you're continuing with the re-read 😅
🦊🦊🦊 The Last Devil to Die was so good! I am going to reread the Thursday Murder books before his newest one comes out in September, even though it's a completely new series.
So you can no longer say you don't like fantasy 😂 you're 100% a fantasy reader now! Sorry to hear about your head pain, glad it's improved for you. Omg a Thursday Murder Club movie!? 😮😮 I didn't know about that! So exciting! As always I've added a ton of books to my TBR list from watching this 😂 xx
I love your Sugarhill Brighton top! I haven't ordered from them in ages but I'm browsing their website now and I'm going to treat myself to some new stuff for summer 🥰
I also pack by pointing at things I don't want anymore. I do great with starting the basics, putting books in boxes and packing linens. But when it comes to the nitty gritty of tools, junk drawers, kitchen things, I am completely useless and no longer know what I'm doing.. I think by the time it comes to that stuff I'm getting a little disoriented and antsy. Can't wait to have the move over with
I saw on GMB weather this morning that May was the the warmest on record 😂, no idea where they get that from. It’s been like autumn here in Lincolnshire
Sorry to hear that you had a rough month for health! Our family did as well unfortunately. I really liked Amina Al-Sirafi, but I’m not planning to continue the series. 🦊

Thank you! And yes, one chapter a day is really working for me - I’d recommend it! ☺️💛

It looks like you had a fairly good month despite illness and house dramas! I'm looking forward to seeing Celia Imrie play Joyce 🦊
I am so excited for it!! ☺️💛

Yes, it seems I’m a fully fledged fantasy reader now! Thanks for watching lovely ☺️💛
Great vlog! I felt the same about Amina al-Sirafi, I persevered but couldn’t connect to it at all 😫 I hope you’re feeling better now!
That’s good to know, maybe I’ll leave it as a DNF! And thanks, much better now ☺️💛
It’s wonderful to catch up with you. I hope you have a pain free month and your cough goes away. 🦊
Thank you! ☺️💛

The whole thing is so annoying 😂 just throw everything in a box and be done! ☺️
I saw on GMB weather this morning that May was the the warmest on record 😂, no idea where they get that from. It’s been like autumn here in Lincolnshire
Warmest on record?! I swear I saw the sun a grand total of three times all month?! 😂 thanks for watching! ☺️💛
