The fixture itself was originally intended to replace incandescent lamps in schoolhouse fixtures that originally used shades with 4 inch diameter fitters. I sourced it from eBay. If you search stuff like “vintage fluorescent” or “antique fluorescent”, you may be likely to find one of such fixtures. Additionally, you would also need to use a schoolhouse ceiling fan light kit with a 4 inch diameter fitter. You may also need to remove the lampholder from the ceiling fan light kit and also the 2 prong plug from the fluorescent tube adapter and run the wires through the ceiling fan light kit in order for the mounting bell to firmly attach to the ceiling fan light kit.
Very nice fixture!
Awesome light fixture
thanks
Where'd you get that fluorescent fan kit? I want one of those!

Put a F18T8 in it, make a video
I have ran it with European F18T8 fluorescent tubes in it and they seem to work well in it.
Update: I just uploaded a video of this fixture running European 18W T8 tubes in it. It is under my “Shorts” thread.
