7:25 Grand Wizzard Theodore invented scratching on Hip Hop in late 1974. Grandmaster Flash and Kool Herc were at a party in which Grand Wizzard Theodore at 13 years old showed that technique.

Listen to James Brown: There was a time live at the Apollo in 1967. where he is Mcing to the crowd. Break Dancing means you are waiting for the breakdown of the record so you can do your best moves i.e. break dancing. All Black Americans know you save your best move for the breakdown. Sound Systems didn't come from the Jamaicans. Just Look at the sound systems used at Motown. during the 50's and 60's. Pig Meat Markam: 1968 recorded "Here Comes the Judge". Black Americans have the receipts, we created Hip Hop.

@@Doolittle187no it didn’t. You’re gonna point to toasting which Jamaicans got from listening to the way African American radio djs talked on records .. rapping is literally an African American slang for talking to someone .. let me rap to you was a common phrase African Americans used before hiphop

The particular sound system invented in Jamaica is what influenced DJs in the South Bronx. Other sound systems don't count here.

African American started rap in the 1940's with a style call scatting. Jamaicans and Putero Rican came after we established hip hop.

Holistically not true. AA/BA were at the forefront, but there were other influences on the culture, such as gang culture.

You could be correct on when the first rap started however the author is talking about Hip Hop, not solely rapping…

And a certain community went behind black Americans back to establish a confused system of business that allowed them with all their "connections" to for many years own the rights to the black community music

ruclips.net/video/uB3Rt6X1koo/видео.htmlsi=Vs7sEHw7a8KT8uQF rapping didn’t come from toasting. Toasting came from rapping. Here’s the original Jamaican toasters saying where they got their influence from. This video is misinformation about my people and MY culture.

Great video I would surely appreciate it if your next video would focused more on the origins of Hip Hop from 1968 way before there was any record deals,
the true unsung founding fathers of Hip Hop

The True Rap/Hip Hop Mount Rushmore:
James Brown, George Clinton, DJ Flowers, DJ Hollywood, Disco King Mario, The Black Spades, Dewey "Pigmeat" Markham, The Jubalaires, Luis Armstrong, The Mills Brothers, The 1st Gen. New York B-Boys and many many other FBA'S who inspired them.
None were Jamaican, Bahamian or Puerto Rican!

U smoking crack. Hip hop is a completely new and innovate local culture that took curation and developing. Without NYC there is no hip hop today. Without the PR breakers & bombers in the Bx, Kool Herc, Flash, Bambaata, Grand Wizard Theodore there is no Hip Hop the way the world knows it today. Nobody has a rap career and I mean NOBODY.
