📚 Heyhey! My mother in law recommended your floss tube, she is a long-time viewer while she stitches. I like to watch while I sew project bags. I'm so glad she did! Your stitching energy is contagious! You've inspired me to bust out my sampler. Thanks for the book chatter too!
Aww yay! Hopefully you find a good series to get you into it, the Discovery of Witches series was the first book I read trying to get back into fun reading and it's always going to hold a special place in my heart because of that!
Always love to see your floss tube and omg the sweatshirt 💕 sooo cute! 🪡🧵 I am completely there with the stitchy bug just getting it back too. A change up in my wips helped me
📖 This update felt so cozy (awesome sweatshirt), and made me so happy! Filmed on my birthday, no less! I’ve started a Halloween stitch and can’t wait to see your spooky stitching.
📚 been loving making our fall / end of year TBR lists. Me and the 13 yo daughter!!!! Each month we add more than we can read 😂!! Teaching her to stitch too! Not stitching until today 9/27. My best friend passed a month ago. Can’t seem to focus in the grief I can’t get out of the fog. But I had big plans! Going to have to fudge it when I can focus.
My TBR is the same way, always overflowing! I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope stitching helps. I know crafting always helps me when I'm struggling emotionally!
📖 I'm with you on wearing my sweatshirts. I love comfy and thankfully the 110+ heat in SoCal has finally gone done. Always enjoy hearing about your books and I love the how you changed the color palette of Study in Nature. You are my go to for color changes and inspiration. I hope you are ok with with doing similar 💗
Aww, thank you! I'm always happy if people copy my colors! I just recently posted my conversion on instagram with my progress update if you need a starting spot for pulling something similar!
📚I always enjoy getting caught up on your stitching and reading. We don't read many of the same style of books, but your reviews are always so fun and honest. Love the recommendations, or non-recommendations as the case may be. Happy September! (PS, I am going to check out No Girlfriend Rule, sounds live a lot of fun!)
📚 loved seeing all ur wips! Caught in the swirl is one of those patterns that I keep trying to talk myself out of, but every time I see it I'm drawn back in😂 wish list to cart cart to wish list, i may just have to do it to calm my mind lolol I enjoy hearing about ur reading journey! I'm not into fantasy and those types, but i still look forward to hearing ur descriptions and it's just interesting learning about diff genres and what others r into😊 Happy stitching 🐈⬛🪡❤️
Even though your stitchy bug was less lately, you still got sooo much progress! I am big into Sampler September at the moment!🧵🪡 Sounds like the Amy Barry series would be one that I like... kind of like 7 Brides for 7 Brothers concept. I'm reading The Violin Conspiracy for Katie the Novel Stitchers book club. 📖
🧵❤❤🧵 Glad you got your stitchy bug back! Hoping to start Serenity for Sampler September but haven't gotten to it yet. You're really making me dig for these emojis. 😂😂 I can't find the book emoji but I did make it to the end!🎉
📚 Oh you guys make me sooo tempted to start A Study in Nature! But I have Glenda's Garden arriving this week. Your floss conversion is very pretty. Happy Sampler September. I'm trying to clean up a couple of spooky WIPs this month.
🪡🧵Color conversion is Stunning!! Working on my oldest wips this September with the addition of two new starts.😊 No Sampler September for me. Happy Stitching and Reading 📚 ❤❤!!!
🪡📚 I am so glad I found your floss tube! You combine my two favorite hobbies, reading and stitching! I am a monogamous stitcher, currently working on the summer Seasonal Quilt series from Just CrossStitch magazine. I guess you would call me a bigamist reader, as I always have one physical book and one audiobook going at all times! Currently reading a biography and listening to Nelson DeMilles latest, The Matrix.
Loved seeing the project s you are working on! Absolutely love the Study in Nature conversion! Beautiful colors! Love the Modern Folk embroidery sampler ! It is gorgeous ! Thanks for the book ideas and happy stitching
🪡 I am working on 2 samplers for this month, Catherine armstrong 1856 by cross stitch antiques, and prairie life sampler by heartstring samplery. My plan is just to work on those 2 for the month.
📚Just discovered your Flosstube! What amazing projects you're stitching! I have the Rejoice Evermore sampler on my wishlist. I'm reading the Outlander books. I'm about to finish the first one.
Love your color conversion for the butterfly. Really like Song of the Nightingale and Rejoice Evermore however I am working on too much right now. I find that if the pattern is too popular I don't want to do it right away. Crazy but true.
📕 📖 📚 great episode, off to look up some new books! Matters Choice is a contender for a birthday start for me in November, I saw it done on light fabric with dark teal over dyed thread and it was to-die-for… love that chart!
It’s always so nice to see your flosstubes! 🧵🪡 glad your stitchy bug came back. Your wips are coming along! I also finally had a little stitchy progress on my rejoice ever more. I might move it to my Sunday stitch not sure yet. It seems if I plan it - it does not get done🤷🏼♀️thank you for sharing 📕📘happy stitching!
Oh my goodness, I feel you on the planning it thing, I used to try to do a Sunday stitch, but I never worked on it on Sundays😂 But I love the concept of it and may try again later!
Another great video. I always enjoy when you come on so I wanted to tell you I finished my beautiful blooms by Carolyn Manning. I did the top three flowers in the cold for and decided I just did not like her colors. So I changed them all. I finished it at the Crazy Woman Retreat and Casper Wyoming got to ring the bell. Everybody was just so excited to see my finish so I would take it out and they could see the whole thing. They loved it quite a few of the ladies ordered that pattern. Not sure how they’re gonna feel about stitching it in the colors that are called for after looking at mine, but it is what it is. I did already change the colors, but I don’t know that people really paid attention. So I have ordered the Carolyn Manning pattern called stargazer and I’m doing that one next. I already know I’m gonna change all the colors right from the get-go.
Love the progress you have done on your projects. Glad you got your stitchy bug back. I am working on Berlin Swallows Sampler & Autumn Band Sampler. I am going to check out Maddie because I love to see new FlossTubers. Happy Stitching 🪡🧵

Hi, Brijin! I loved seeing all the projects you’ve been working on since last time. You stitching is so beautiful! Did you really say 46 count on that Brenda Gervais chart?!? Stunning! And amazing! Your idea of bringing all your older WIPs past the 10 percent mark is a great goal, and you’re doing so well on it. Also your progress on the MFE project is amazing, and so gorgeous. I’m very glad your slump is over! See you in few weeks, my friend! Happy stitching and reading! 🪡 Meline

A coloring book is the perfect way to describe that piece! That's exactly how it feels to work on it! Hi Brijin! I know you did a color conversion on a piece you mentioned you will be stitching on, The Vanity Sampler by Liz Matthews. I'm trying to find that conversion because I prefer your colors over the called-for! OR, was it Cam, CamTheStitcher who made the color conversion? It was a while ago when you started, I remember you talking about the 'gothic' color version which I find it more beautiful than the called-for! I don't think it looks that gothic, I really prefer it! I like it has pink in it! How can I find that color conversion? Where would it be? I've not yet tried Instagram, I still consider myself new there, so it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack for me! Lol! I look forward to seeing where you are now on it, and of course, the colors! ANY help you can give me, I'd so appreciate it!!! Thank you dearly!!!
