Why has this video of Allie escaped my attention until now,i have followed Allie since she was about 13,and i love to look back at when she first started and to see her progression through the years,this was a beautiful video and i loved the little interview at the end,it was obvious then as it is now that this young girl is a precocious talent that is destined for big things in the entertainment and musical world.
I'm amazed at how many people are so self involved that they can't stop for 5 minutes and listen to this brave and talented young lady. even if you don't like the particular style you have to appreciate the talent

Most singers effectively lose their accent when singing, but when talking their accent shows, In Allie's case I do not know if she has always lived in Cork or where her parents hale from, as that can fundamentally affect an accent. When singing many Americans and English singers are indistinguishable. But when they interview you know the difference.

Sadly being in the UK I do not get to see these RTE programmes. But I agree with you 100 per cent. Allie is one of the most talented young persons I have seen. I want to do anything i can to help and support her, that is why I was humbled and honoured to become a mod with her fan club. I did not know about her Mum, it may account for the deep soul that comes through her music.

Yes, of course, she has a wonderful voice but what I'm even more happy about is that her father was there with her supporting her then and he's still there today 6 years later. What a wonderful, warm father - daughter relationship. That's worth much more than being famous, "making it big", 5.7 million subscribers or whatever. Am I jealous? Nah.. Yes, I am actually. I'd give anything and everything for a relationship like that. But who am I to complain, I have double reason to enjoy watching Allie perform. I get to listen to her wonderful voice, see her father and Allie being so close, and dream a bit, maybe I will also experience that one day
Some talented kids can sing almost with her volume of voice others to see the conception of song, and so on but I haven'theard any who had all her qualities and courage together

I don't know, you were happier as you didn't know about the world all those thing you know today, but you need to know because helps you to protect yourself of villain or whatever
