Mr. Descharmes: The choice of the Cello for this majestic piece (that I have listened to since the original Violin Phase composition by Reich in the late 1960's) is brilliant. I can not even tell you how many times I will be savoring your inspired interpretation in the coming years. There is really no way I can thank you enough. I would also be especially curious whether you could take on the daunting challenge of performing other Reich works including pieces such as Nagoya Guitars or others of your choosing.
Not only an excellent arrangement and interpretation of one of my favorite works, but also an amazing video to go along with it. Have you checked out Reich's "Cello Counterpoint?" Also a very good work.

Thanks ! No, I didn't use any metronome. Just hours of practice with the original looping and my two ears... :-)
