So far Icon of the seas cruise ship has been amazing, but this is the first time we can get off the cruise ship in 48 hours. My family and I have been on over 17 cruises, when I was younger we went to St. Kitts multiple times and met an amazing taxi cab driver. Her name is Marlene and she feeds all of the taxi drivers. Next time you guys visit defiantly try to get her as your driver and visit Carenbola Beach!

Ok I'm at the rum cakes now. Dude works that whisk like a pro! (sorry Laura) ... John, as far as tasting the raw ingredients, I'm with you living life on the edge. I'm Italian and mix raw beef, pork and veal for my meatballs. After seasoning and mixing well, I always take a pinch of the raw meat to taste. You've got to taste! Never had a problem.
The rice and peas sound good too! Italians do something similar, Pasta and Peas! You'd like, I'm sure!!
Wow guys! Great cooking class excursion! The plates looked delicious! We're jealous.... We did the train ride, which was nice, but this looks so much nicer. I like how Laura commented that it was authentic cuisine.

Fain, you need to get Laura some Zinc!! 50 mg tablets, she needs to take 1 a day. Zinc is amazing to help make you feel better from any illness and keep illness away if you have been around someone who is sick. Hope you feel better soon Laura♥️♥️♥️

I hope you enjoyed the sister island to Nevis and will have the chance to go there again. I am part Kittitian by bloodline. My maternal grandmother was born in St Kitts. Been there many times. In Basseterre, you may have seen a few properties/stores/dealerships and the port authority with the name Delisle on it. Also of mention is the Immaculate Conception Catholic Co-Cathedral (don't know if you got to see it, there are memorial plaques at the entrance (narthex) to the church with the family name on them.) and Dieppe Beach with its black lava sands, and Frigate Bay is the best beach.

We spent 10 days in St. Kitts years before cruise ships placed St. Kitts on their itinerary. It was peaceful and beautiful!
But I would have been annoyed during the cooking lesson with people talking and filming.

The reason why you shouldn't lick the spoon when making a cake is not because of the raw eggs. It's because of the raw flour. So as long as you're baking something that doesn't include flour its probably safe to lick the spoon.

I know how she feels. We went on carnival in 07 and was in Turks and Caicos on the beach. My husband got me a float to lay on in the ocean. I guess they didn't clean them and the last person had the flu and I caught it. I woke up last day of cruise with 103 temp. Put on quarantine. Sad thing was it was my birthday. Spent most of the day in the room sick. When we went through customs in Miami the next morning the guy asked if I had anything to declare and I said a bottle of champagne and the flu. He looked at me and said u can go. I don't think he would have stopped me if I'd said I had drugs on me. He couldn't get me out of the terminal fast enough.

found you all from another cruise vlog i watched and i enjoy wathcing the content but my only critique is that you move WAY too fast and it makes me motion sickness...lol. just slow down the movement and stabilize a bit more so it doesnt make it so hard to watch. and sorry Laura felt bad on the trip
