@@FoodwithChetna I made this today and other than using a bit too much ghee and butter and burning the onions (😭) this was delicious. Thank you for sharing! I'll continue to practice.
I am here for endless chicken curry recipes! Have made so many of yours by now (literally just finished the saag kale chicken, and made this today :) ).
I've cooked lots of different non-veg and vegetarian recipes Chetna from your channel. And they've all come out absolutely delicious. Your mum's other chicken recipe is my favorite. This one I must try soon. Thank you.
@@FoodwithChetna Excellent content and recipes btw. The bigger size helps with bhoon (Where you stir and bloom the spices at high heat with the meat for a short time before adding water and covering) , allows better heat and steam circulation. After all, our "Haandi" method goes right back to the Indus civilisation. Nice.
As I watch the clip, I note everything I'll need, in case I have to go shopping first. Then, I watch the clip again as I cook, so I never get in a muddle.
Even if I replace the chicken with paneer or anything else I still need to add all those ingredients - too much !! ....... labor intensive ........too many ingredients
You have a very kind mother. What an excellent chef she is. 😊❤
She is a great cook!
I just learned so many new tricks I've been doing wrong when making Indian dishes just watching the process. Thank you!
Happy to help!

The tongs you use on your kadhai - what are those called? Thank you. Looks delicious!
the hindi word is - sansi
eBay UK list these as 'sandsi' or 'pakkad'-or simply, Indian kitchen tongs! :)
Mahalo (thank you!) from Hawaii! 🏝️

Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸🇺🇸Nice cooking video and I love this dish a lot👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you so much
@foodwithchetna What does your mom typically serve with it? Going to try this recipe next weekend :-)
There was a picture of the dish at the start of the video on a plate, that is how my mum served it. With chapati, onions, papad
@@FoodwithChetna Got it! Thank you!
Do you have the written recipe ? l cant find it anywhere. Thankyou
Written recipes can be found in my cookbooks, link in the description
Can you make the chocolate covered teacakes? Thanks.

Well I know what I'm making this weekend 😂
yessss
Sadly we are having fish cakes tonight. This would have been perfect if I had logged on and seen it. I will be making it during the week.
enjoy in the week
you could do with a bigger dekchi for that amount of chicken

recipe please
why do you put the garlic ginger after onions rather than before?
onions need longer and ginger garlic will burn in that much time
I think the heat was a notch more than what it should have been. Let it take 90 minutes if that’s what it takes at a lower temp.
I swear I could smell this as you were preparing this!
its soooooo good
Write down the ingredients after every recipe in description box plz
You are welcome to buy my books for written recipes, all links in the description....... 🙏🏽

Why don't you wash the chicken!???
It spreads bacteria all over your kitchen.
@@sd44627 what
@Dr_A01 you don't wash the chicken, you wash your hands and utensils after preparing it
I also thought. Without washing directly into the utensil.
