No. A lot of people want to immigrate, people from the Philippines or an African country or Vietnam or wherever don't have the luxury of walking here. They have to go through the legal process, everyone else should too. It takes so long for people to get here legally, I think the time would be minimized greatly if USCIS or whoever didn't have to deal with all of these people coming illegally. Sorry, but I don't think the plight of someone in S.A. is worse than the plight of someone in S.E. Asia, just my opinion however

I went to college about 10 years ago to become an elementary teacher. BIGGEST mistake of my life. Went into massive debt, they pushed the woke agenda even back then, got into teaching (substitute) which was even worse with the indoctrination. And when I tried to question it in the public schools, I had my credentials revoked with prejudice (meaning I can never get them back) and I was blcklisted in all schools within a 200+ mile radius. Nobody would even hire me as a tutor. And I still have the massive debt. Colleges, like the public schools are a sick joke, imho. Totally regret going to college. I would have been better off just working at McDonalds.

The content of my classes was no longer relevant and no one would hire me until I had more current experience. I had to scramble to find anything at all. The one job that I could find had absolutely no relevance to my degree. My stance is that college is a complete waste of time and it sucks the life out of you to pay for it. Once you do get your degree, you are then 4 or more years behind everyone else. You will never make up those lost years and the price tag will keep you in poverty for decades.

Colleges really "sell" the social experience in their marketing literature--and so many young people get mesmerized by it. However, the price you pay is leaving with a mountain of debt and no marketable skills. A VERY bad bargain! And the more people get wise to it the more irrelevant the college experience will become.

I went into Barnes and Noble to get Trump's new book. I asked the person behind the desk if they had Trump's new book on deporting all the m-grants. She said, "Get the Hell out of here and don't come back." I said yes. That's the one. Do you have it in paperback?

College is still worth it for STEM for sure, and even other majors, but I guess it's harder to find the right place.
For people actually interested in math, physics, chemistry, biology, they can learn a lot and beyond what they can learn alone, assuming there's motivation and good mentors with an open mind. Even for things like philosophy, or history, political science, you can learn a lot you wouldn't be able to otherwise. It's really important to find good mentors, if the department has terrible or politically captured professors, then you have to go somewhere else. STEM can be more resistant to these political pressures.

I think it was when Trump did the McDonald's thing that I started realizing, "This guy's gonna win." Or at least, if not realizing, "feeling it." All those crowds, lining the streets, all sincerely cheering for Trump. It was just in the air. I still didn't know for sure, though, no one did--everything I had seen, watched and read, for months, said otherwise.

There are trade careers where they are making 6 figures. There are college graduates that are working slightly above minimum wage. In 2020, we learned who were the essential workers and it wasn’t the college level jobs. Proof is listen to a great wise man, Mike Rowe.

When a school accepts a tuition payment financed by a student loan, the school has to cosign the loan. If the student can not or will not repay the loan, the lender can demand payment from the school.

When you go after university please note that there is a huge difference betrween Science Technowlogy Engineering and Mathmatics (STEM) and the liberal arts side of campus.

the title says "going to hell".....lol....where's everybody been ? Coleges went to hell a long, long time ago. Degrees are nothing more than a piece of paper showing that someone stayed long enough and had enough money to get it. They come out of school unable to actually make a living. Their real training starts once they get hired. That piece of paper just shows they have potential........yeah colleges went to hell a long time ago....
