2023 Ruby Reel Reading Festival Highlights

Civil rights activist, literacy advocate, and 2015 Freedom Award honoree, Ruby Bridges was in Memphis for the Ruby Bridges Reading Festival at the National Civil Rights Museum. The festival featured book giveaways, children’s activities, and storytelling from children’s book authors including:

• ANDREW MARANISS, author of Inaugural Ballers
• BELLEN WOODARD, author of More Than Peach
• BRYAN COLLIER, illustator of We Are Here
