How do you only have 164 subscribers. This video is really well done. It really demonstrates how the netflix version of avatar is going to be very important. I heard about it and how the original creators parted ways with netflix. Regardless, I am still excited to see this. I've only recently started watching Avatar and it exceeded by expectations by miles. I'm currently watching the legend of Korra and am really enjoying it. Thankfully I had enough people tell me that I need to temper my expectations and I got a really good explanation that it's not much like the last air bender so I needed to expect a whole new story that happens to be set in the same universe which really helped.
Hahaha thanks a lot man! Amazing how some Kids show from back in the day can continue to be so good that it's just as appealing to older audiences. I talk about that in my previos avatar video. And I'm actually going to talk about Legend of Korra in the coming weeks if you're interested!
I am a big fan of Avatar, but as you mentioned the Live action was terrible... the last week i decided to watch the series again... i almost cry. Cheers Netflix. I love this channel 🔥
Best comment! I gave a fan hope! Haha. You mean the music that I used for the video? My brother in law is a camera man and he has friends that he made in the set of James bond who were hired for the Netflix live action. They told him they are set to start this summer with the shooting of it. In July I think.
One thing I believe would be pretty important for the live-action is to have the cast *actually watch* the show. That way they can know what the source material is and emulate their character more closely. I think as long as these new productions avoid the mistakes that the 2010 film did (and the several that Legend of Korra did) I will like them.
They shouldn't try to recreate the same appeal of the original. It's easier and less risky to tell a new story in the same world while finding their own ways to make it good. The Force Awakens was terrible because it tried to copy it's predecessor instead of investing in it's few good new ideas.
I loved it, loved the music and loved how stoics tell us what we can and cannot control👍lovely mastered. I also enjoy the hope you have for the future of Avatar and how hooeful you sound gir the Netflix coming movie, let's wait and see how that comes up🙏 . Great video, great comparative analysis too. As always, looking forward to your next video. Thks!
Bryke need a good team around them. I don’t want them to have just “yes” men around them. Netflix has a unique opportunity here to do something. I think Netflix will make it very different to the original cause it’s live action and not animated.
I think they should add in new stories and characters in the show I absolutely love this show and it needs a proper live action remake. And also I wanted to play the role of Sokka in the live action show, but I don’t think I’ll have the chance. But whoever plays these characters I hope they succeed.
i have hope for this live-action too! you said it: i will always love the animation more than anything, the adaptation doesn't have to be better. i hope that they fix the book 2 plot hole with Guru Pathik, and also fix the two deus ex machinas they implemented in the finale. plus adding better development to the romance sub-plot, since kataang didn't feel earned to me due to Guru Pathik and too many unresolved book 3 conflicts for the sake of "will they or won't they". (most fans don't pay attention to the romance because they find it not as important, but if bryke decided to start it, then we can't ignore it). romance is complex even as a sub-genre, whether we like it or not, so it deserves more respect imo. this was a rlly good video! looking forward to your reactions to the adaptation
Thank you so much and yeah! Maybe we could get a couple of fixes here and there even if its not as good. And oooh I certainly will react to it! I'm going to upload a couple of non related videos for now, but straight after that I'm gonna talk about Legend of Korra on the channel! In case you are interested!
Do you agree and think we should still have a little hope left for the Netflix live-action? Or do you think that all hope is lost without Mike & Bryan? Let me know!
I can see Netflix milking it in trailers and advertisements but it’ll end up being a bad series. Or they can do their own spin on it and it could turn out to be good.
@@prashanttyagi1440 yeah Netflix should have brought them back in and apologise in private. Promising to let them have their way. Let's see what happens
I submit it would have been simpler and even less risky to just do episodes about other Avatars. They didn't have to be earth-saving plots. It could have simply been ways to expand the world and the lore.
@@carbootstudios2459 oh yeah for sure. Thats a given. The show is gonna look...either colorless or lifeless. Or something. Especially the bending But since the general audience prefer live action, I just think that we should give it a go and see what happens. While I personally will not be watching it, if people find a love of the franchise because of it. Good, but the animation industry needs to break the Disney stigma, and be taken seriously by the establishment.
I'm good. Everything past the 3erd season has been shit. The comics, the movie, Korra. don't want to see one of the greatest animated series of all time be milked for profit. I'll stick to pirating the first 3 seasons.
I see no reason to remake the original series, it's fine. Now if you want to do another series in the same universe, go for it. I'll give it a shot. Basically the fans will be all "YOU RUINS IT!"
With that *Neil Gaiman BLACK DEATH* hullabaloo going on recently on Netflix's adaptation for the *SADman,* I don't want to see my *BLACK-Aang BEING PANDERED by Netflix. They probably might LITERALLY RACE-SWAP Aang as BLACK and make him SOO HOMO YAOI for BOTH SOKKA and ZUKO. And make them BOTH BLACK as well for the mix.* I think the Avatar team made the right choice for leaving Netflix. Netflix's take for "Avatar: The Last BLACK bender?" A *BIG "NO"* for me there.
This guy deserves more subs
Agree
Hahaha thank you my friend
