Super thanks for the clarity!!! I'm a self-taught play-by-ear musician and this is what I had been waiting for. I've watched every Barry Harris (R.I.P.) video available since a few years now and learned so much from him!
I overheard a guy at the grocery store, talking to the cashier. He said he had been using the Yousician app until he started developing severe pain in his wrist and hand.
Just found your channel last night and subscribed. I’ll have to watch this later but I really was hoping for a video to talk about Barry Harris as I actually don’t know much about him, how crazy is that. And then you post this. And from that I can see you have other vids about his style. Awesome. Thanks!
Yet another treasure discovered! Thanks, Shan!! Wonderful work here. I was equally blown by the way you played the repeated notes on Bb7 in '"All the things you are'" @6:14. This makes me long for another video from you on how you would treat "repeated notes".. 🙂🙂 Thanks so much!!
Dear Shah, your lessons are so refreshing clear and uncluttered. l know how tempting it is to use modern sound effects and fast moving images. May I request that you reconsider the use of the drawer that pulls open and closed with the accompanying grating swoosh? Your work has too much quality to need popularising. l hope this was not offensive to any of your other students. Barry spread beautiful noise!
very neat concepts on contrary motion. How to use it within melodies of steps and jumps. I really enjoy the application and encouragement to practice concepts slowly. You really care about the art. I appreciate that.

Thank you and kept hearing “Thanks for the Memories “ in the intro section.
Thanks for listening
I love how you have the piano app to show us which notes you're playing. Whenever you start playing, I learn so much.
Happy to hear that!
Thank you so much, sir, for sharing your knowledge. I love music and I'm at last understanding better all this stuff. You are a very good teacher.
Thank you and I'm pleased to hear it's making sense. I wish you well with your playing.
