- BURY ST EDMUNDS REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY - November 13th 2022
Remembrance Sunday is a day for people of the United Kingdom to remember and honour those who sacrificed their lives to protect the freedom of the British people.
The parade and wreath laying took place at Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk town centre.
The parade was led by RAF Honington Voluntary Band and personnel from the Navy, Army, United States Air Force, Royal Air Force and Cadets and Military Associations take part in the parade which was organised by RAF Honington.
The Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk, Clare Countess of Euston, lead the civic wreath laying at the war memorial.

It was an absolute honour to be out on parade today as lone Marker on behalf of 28 Engineer Regt (C-CBRN), shame no footage was captured.

Many thanks for your comments. Much appreciation is due all round for the fine efforts of all of the folks involved in making this commemoration event so successful. This was reflected by the large number of the public that attended.

It's good to see that some towns still respect those who served and gave their all. I sadly is not the case in many parts of North West England. When I lived there it was always observed and supported by the people. Today the population of what was in many towns , Catholic, C of E , now is no longer the case.
