Can I do this while unplugging the turbo then plugging back in and allowing it to manoeuvre into the correct position then bolting back up?

VCDS has an option to calibrate, but the problem is not calibrating software wise, it's the mechanical position so the arm can move the way it should to adjust the lever to min and max positions. If not adjusted correctly, it will never calibrate
