Happened to me before when I was over the road. I was about to call tow truck. I was lucky when I shaked the switch on and off and I saw the red light on and off. 1st when light turned red. I was able to turn on the engine. But when the engine shaked the power go off. The 2nd time when I was able to turn the key on. I disconnected the cable connect to the switch. It was bypassed for the whole trip. Problem solved when I got new switch for 90$ at dealership.

I have a 2011 M2 106 that I put a new aux switch in, and I don't have power coming to it. Does this mean the PDNB is bad?

Can you do it yourself? no need someone who is expert on it? It look like 4 screws and plug in plug out?
I have power going to the switch . But the light is not on. Check all fuses they are pk
