Thanks for the video. I've been running the kebtek kt940 for a few years now and still going strong. I use the telescopic pole with it also - super light and useful for fruit trees and getting across the top of hedges
I have the Milwaukee pruners and in my opinion it works best with the 2.5ah HO batteries. The HO battery definitely gives it more power to cut through harder stuff. Y’all looked like y’all had a lot of fun on the runtime test…lol! Awesome review as always guys, and still jealous that you get black Milwaukee cases…lol!
Great reviews. I have the dewalt version and they are awesome. Wouldn’t be without them for pruning apples trees. Paid about £100 2 years ago (without a battery). Cuts up to 200mm with a few goes.
Hi James + Josh, Good test drives on these pruning shears, not heard of kebtek but you do have Stihl and Milwaukee are quality tools, but for me and for the home gardener and for the price it's got to be Jeff. I think we should go a buy our selves a Jeff, bargain nuff said.... As always a great video take care
Very nice video gents. Thank you very much. I've been looking to get this tool, and I think I'm settled on the Milwaukee as I already have a bunch of M12 batteries. That being said, the Kebtek is definitely worth a look. Go figure the Amazon model did so well! Of course, Stihl will always be a reliable brand. What I like about Stihl is they stand behind the product. I know that any Stihl tool I have I can take to the local dealer and it can be fixed. Thanks again for a great video. Entertainment and information all in one!
My question is, Are the batteries in the Stihl Pruner compatable with the Stihl Small Hedge Trimmer and the pruning Saw? Great comparison Video. Many thanks
The Milwaukee is very robust but the balance is not there. It is very front heavy so it’s uncomfortable for long term usage. The Ryobi pruners are more comfortable due to the better balance and tool grip angle.
I got the Milwaukee and Kebtek at the estate I work on as a head gardener. Milwaukee cordless tools are on a different level than anything else in my opinion but on this occasion, it’s nowhere near as good as the Kebtek. I reduced the thickness of a 150 meter long over grown beech hedge with both and put them through hell! The Milwaukee wouldn’t cut the big stuff where as the Kebtek cut anything I could fit in its gob and it’s faster!
i bought one of them cheap ones came with everything but the charger contacted seller they said we will knock ten pound off i said prefer a charger the seller disapeared so better to buy at shop not online
I was disapointed you didnt touch upon the safety of these pruners, some of the available products on the market have built in Finger Detection to stop you cutting your fingers off.

Cool video, got the Stihl ASA20 and love them, fantastic bit of kit to have, whichever brand people choose

Too late, already have the Milwaukee... very happy with it, can't go wrong
Very timely. about to do my winter ppruning in the garden now the frost has gone

Shame you didnt test the stiga shears. Fantastic bit of kit.
Recently picked up the DeWalt ones as have their batteries, great but bulkier than those, handy tho 👌 nice test guys👍

Nice Video James. Chinesium looks good but overall doesn't perform or last as long. Forget about Warranty, Spares, or repair parts!!
Great test, did you try and strip any of them to sharpen?
Jeff also works on Makita batteries.
My question is, Are the batteries in the Stihl Pruner compatable with the Stihl Small Hedge Trimmer and the pruning Saw?

Yes they are
The Kebtek looked the best for commercial use.
I use Jeff 1 year and dont have problem. Bosch is similar like stihl .

Wait a minute! Harder, Cold Weather, Shrinkage lol!
