      If you ever get a chance come play the course in El Reno, Oklahoma! It’s a decent course not very long at all and it’s what I play all the time because I live like 4 blocks away lol there’s a bunch of courses in OKC, one in Mustang and a nice one down in Durant as well. Norman and a lot of other towns have a bunch of courses too. Love your videos brother you’ve came a long way in a short time.

    I love the new timelapses. Got two a 160g and a 169g, for a little different stability. They are so domey and glidey, for my armspeed they seem to just keep pushing even when I thought I didn't throw them well. I finally parked the practice basket at Coal Creek with one and almost 2'd a 520 ft par 4 today. Over the past week or so I've probably had 3 or 4 of my longest drives with them. It's hard to find sometimes a driver that will have a lot of turn but still a good amount of late fade, especially if you can't quite throw hard enough to force turn out of some drivers. For Denver altitude they are pretty money.

    I just got back into disc golf while in Virginia for three months after not playing for about 10 years! That course was the first course I played since back in Colorado (native to Colorado) and I forgot how fun it was bombing open fields instead of playing tight and technical holes! Definition hooked again!

    If I understand disc golf correct I think "Hyzer" refers to the left/ right wing angle (independent of nose angle). You might need a throw high in the sky counter more than a hyzer angle counter. And of course you already know the more nose up means more air pushing under plate = slowing down = less distance. Obviously you need to be a little high for the disc to have time to work but not SO high that you're killing the finish by it stalling out sooner or more than desired. Regardless of all that it was a fun video to watch, with good disc info & a relatable putting clinic.

    • @ladditude117
      @ladditude117 6 месяцев назад +1

      Hyzer is angling the top of the disc away from you, anhyzer is angling the top of the disc towards you (independent of nose angle as you said). The nose angle of the disc should ideally be a few degrees negative, while the thrower adjusts the launch angle to add height. It's generally preferable to throw on hyzer because the wind will push on the disc evenly throughout the flight. Flex or anhyzer shots are more affected by wind

  • @Gauchograd99

    Fission at 163g made this usable where my emperor is 167g and my Realm and Enigmas are 171g. Fission will allow you to go lighter weight and hold stability due to the lighter flight plate and resulting nearly similar moment of inertia ... if my college physics is holding up after all these years. :)

    I just lost my fission time lapse this past weekend. It was the same pink and yellow combo that you are throwing. 167 g’s. It was a bomber even for my noddle arm. I could throw it 380-400’.

    • @garnerthecube
      @garnerthecube 5 месяцев назад

      Something that’s got me a lot more distance recently is holding the disc on a slight anhyzer in the reach back (it gets it nose down) and focusing on reaching out instead of behind me (I now average 470 and can get over 500). Also film yourself and compare your form to pros.

    Honest question.. why do you keep throwing Forehand up shots that are sub par when the backhand hyzer is open? I would understand if the answer was that you throw that shot better, but I think it's your most inconsistent shot by far.. just curious of the thought process! Love the content

      @BodanzaDiscGolf I'm just asking bc it's something I see a lot of people doing. I've always heard that you have more "control" with a Forehand, but I haven't found that to be the case. I would suggest just trying your 200ft and in upshots backhand just to see! Couldn't hurt too bad 😉

    I don’t buy the fission acting like it’s heavier. I throw a neutron relay for hyzer flips all day. I bought a fission relay for something more stable and it was suuuppppeer flippy. It was the same weight as my neutron so it should fly like it was heavier and be more stable
