    You are Very wrong in your explanation with that example, coriolis force is just an apparent force that is visible due to earths rotation and application of ANGULAR momentum on things moving through air, you need to move in an angle to see a deflection , if you move parallel to the latitude you will not see any visible deflection but only your distance travelled will be calculated with net of your speed and earth's rotation speed, be it equator or poles ,no deflection will be there when we move parallel to latitudes
    Please correct me if I am wrong

  • @jigarbarot9886

    I didn't get one thing. How the wind is supposed to move from left to right? How did you make this assumption that ideal wind direction should be from left to right? wind is supposed to move from high pressure to low pressure. Please clarify.

    Why the pressure gradient force and coriolis force are balancing each other at higher atmosphere ?

  • @muskankhan1182
    @muskankhan1182 3 года назад

    I have a doubt....as we know that thr Coriolis force deflects the wind direction and the wind flows in a tilted manner than but the last diagram you are showing in the video why the Coriolis affecting the wind to blow from low to high pressure ....why the Coriolis is working vertically.

    • @KnowledgeMediaMD
      @KnowledgeMediaMD  3 года назад

      Coriolis Force acts perpendicular to the Axis. Since Earth rotates from West to East, Coriolis Force acts in downward direction.
