Well on top of fruits such as pear, pomegranate, orange by favorite are greens. The body is able to create all amino acids out of glucose, and minerals vitamins enzymes, through the citric acid cycle (formerly known as krebs cycle). So what greens are my favourite? Spinach, lambs lettuce, romaine butterhead lettuces, heirloom lettuces. In all stages of growth such as mature plant, baby leaves, microgreens, and sprouts. Shoots are also to be included with sunflower sprouts.

Please someone tell me how to make the lentils more tasty... I'll soak them and sprout them for about 2 to 3 days but I really just don't care for the flavor too much and they're so starchy feeling in my mouth... I know they're fantastic high-protein but anybody got any ideas to make them more Tasty ⁉️😋

Apparently, Pumpkin seeds are not natural for us.
Ive researched this subject for years. I truely think the best 5 are below.
      1.) Podded peas.
      2)Avacado
      3.)Pecans
      4.)Pistachios
      5) Walnuts
      6.)Raw mixed seed butter
      7) Hemp butter
      8.) Raw Tahini
      9) Coconut flesh
      10) High Oleric Peanut butter. Organic.
About 5 to 10 nuts. Or a tablespoon of the butter. 😊

Thanks for the protein recommendations Gillian!
I like lentils as well. Also lupini beans which have
approximately 36 grams of protein per cup serving. Spirulina, sprouts, is also on my list of good protein sources.
I make my own protein powder. Due to the outrageous prices of protein powders and I've come across testing reports of some brands of plant based protein powders containing lead, arsenic, cadmium and BPA. This included organic protein powders as well. Be sure the protein powder you purchase is third party tested.
You can pretty much get good amounts of protein from a variety of plant foods. It's more so about the amino acids.
    Protein Powder Blend
    Ingredients:
    1 cup hemp seeds
    1/2 cup chia seeds
    1/2 cup flax seeds
    1/4 pumpkin seeds
Process in blender or food processor until you achieve a fine powder consistency.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for future use.
My main workout supplement is creatine. I've been using it for over 15 years. I cycle it on and off. There's plenty of studies to back it's benefits. New studies are now coming out on creatine and cognitive health.
    Cheers to good health!

Great video Gillian thanks heaps. Btw with the sprouted lentils, I make them into RAW VEGAN BURGER PATTIES with some shredded carrots, ginger, garlic, spice of choice, leafy green herb of choice, chia / flax seeds and walnuts/sunflower seeds/pumpkin seeds/ you get the point, in a food processor. Soak them for 20 mins in a nice raw vegan tomato puree and you have yourself a very sexy and power packed raw vegan kofta (Indian lentil balls soaked in a spicy tomato curry). This recipe is very versatile so you can make it to your preferences and it is super filling! Best of all it is 100% Raw Vegan with loving kindness, compassion and empathy towards all living beings and the planet!!! Say what!!!!

      1. Sprout the lentils.
      2. in a food processor, mix all the sprouted lentils, spices, herbs, seasoning, ground sunflower /pumpkin seeds and the ground chia or flax seeds
      3. form into balls or burger patties.
      4. soak the balls / burger patties into the tomato puree that is prepared for a vegan kofta (basically tomato puree + spices + seasoning + tahini as a cream replacement)
      5. after 20 mins it should be ready to eat as the chia / flax ground seeds would have activated as a natural rich omega-3 binding agent.
      6. i think there are youtube recipes online. i tried it and it was amazing and much like the cooked vegan version.
      7. you can put it on zoodles, coodles, in a collard green wrap. limitless.
hope this helps. thanks for asking.

I like sprouts and microgreens (once I learned they don't all taste like grass), but you do have to eat a lot of them. Naked Pea is not organic so that's a big ole bucket of glyphosate. Always get organic grains, legumes, nuts, and even sunflower seeds, because they drench them in glyphosate right before harvest to dry the whole field out at once.

Put the jar in an angle to let it drain and rinse twice a day. They sprout very easily and are ready in a few days. I sprout then until the tails are about 1 inch and they have little green leaves. I eat them both raw and steamed .

If you can't stand the taste of sprouts on a RAW vegan diet, you're done (regarding adequate protein). I'm one of those people, unfortunatelly...

If may chime in, not sure if many remember, but I can confidentally say that it goes away and now even the smell of it makes me nauseous. Just focus on your raw vegan / high raw vegan journey. It's a life saver. Have you checked out Dr. Brooke Goldner she is for MORE THAN just Lupus and autoimmune, and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn?

I would look more into visceral fat, subcutaneous fat and most critically arterial plaque. Lentils combat all of these!
