He's used this test matches as well. Whenever he gets to bowl with the new ball he tries both the reverse flipper and the arm ball ( with seam pointing away) to actually make the ball drift in the air in both directions.

Very interesting video... I m a leg spiner and I m bowling this delivery from last 14 years, i can even get it to dip in and move away sharply with somewhat a horizontal seam presentation.... Very few bowlers have used this delivery but all of them use fingers to impart the spin whereas one can also use wrist to move the ball to a greater lenght and it also slows down and sometimes bounces awkwardly after pitching which can make it very difficult to hit through the line...
i think the grip is almost same for both deliveries , however in carrom ball the seam is angular to turn it anti clock wise to take a turn, while in flipper the angle is reversed , inline with ur explaination.
It depends on the surface you are bowling at plus the amount of spin imparted.. Mostly with fingers there is not a great amount of spin on the ball only an inward seam presentation makes the ball to curve in, in the air... But if a bowler can impart alot of spin on a spinning track then it will slow down and move away after pitching... It also bounces awkwardly on spinning tracks
Dusra and tesra ball of saqlain mustaq what is the difference its look same ??? Make video on that so that new learner bowler can learn of them its very confusing to pick them !
I still think why they didn’t make place for Ashwin against aus in final wc …robohit sharma was so overconfident with that fiery pace attack he forgot that league match with aus and contribution of Ashwin…noone talks about it …after all its not overseas its Bharat so spin does a lot for you here…and Ashwin against Australia is something different in every format…the worst thing after collapse of batting line up is taking Ashwin out against Australia…robohit don’t know how to utilise bowlers because he is not that kind of player …reason behind ipl wins is he always used to have some perfect players like Malinga bumrah pollard like players but he can’t win low scoring match like wchampions trophy 2014 …he don’t know the use of spinners like Dhoni used to believe and did… This is fact …after all he’s a brilliant batsman but like kohli he’s a batsman only not captain …their fans will not gonna admit that but still it’s a fact you can’t change…
LOL. Bro he is the mystery spinner came after the era of Warne, Murli, myshtaq. Before him it was Ajmol but Ashwin is the most consistent. Mujib and Thiksana started recent years. Mendis was another one but failed. Try to appreciate this guys talent if you are a cricket lover.
