Super Mario Bros. (NES): 256w - Glitch levels that normally crash

In Super Mario Bros. for the NES, there are several glitch levels that just crash or "black out" upon loading the level. This can be (somewhat) avoided by freezing the value of address 0725 to 00. The level will be only loop if it's frozen to that value. Once this value is unfrozen, the level will crash the game upon entering the next screen.

Codes used:
VZTLTN: Infinite time code.
GIIIVY: Walk through walls code.
AEPLLG: Mario/Luigi can jump multiple times in the air.
Modify address 0725's value to ** (00 used for ** in this video): Determines the screen Mario is on. Can be used to bypass loading crashes. Toggled off when the level starts unless stated otherwise in this video.
Modify address 075F's value to ** (33, 43, CA and 83 used for ** in this video): World modifier for Super Mario Bros. on the NES.
OR
Modify address 0750's value to ** (49, 4C, 51 and 5D used for ** in this video): Level modifier for Super Mario Bros. on the NES.

The first has underwater 6-2 enemies, the second underwater 5-3, the third underwater coin heavens A, and the fourth underwater 4-2.
Why did the text at the top of the screen move around when the game crashed?
That is generally something the SMB1 engine does when the game crashes.

What caused the game to crash? Is it a glitched block, a glitched enemy, or some other factor?
Likely a glitched block.
Are you sure these are glitch levels? They just look like Mario maker levels to me.
W68-6 (4C/CC): Loads the same enemy data as level ID 09/89 (in-water 1-3/5-3)

There is no goal, because the levels were never intended to be beaten
