This exactly the kind of testing that I needed for this guitar. A good old E blues where you can listen open E string and feel the quality of the deep sound. Thanks! I'm in for the guitar (buying soon)
Beautifully played! I love the 000-15M.... it has such a sweet sound and is perfect for recording or more intimate venues. I have an early 1990's Martin D-1 if I'm chasing a brighter sound. I picked up the 000-15M this year to replace my 1969 Harmony H-165 I got for Christmas in 1970 when I was 10 years old - it was also an all mahogany guitar that looks almost identical to this martin. The Nuns at St Helena's Catholic church and school taught me to play guitar that year! Very cool Nuns - the 1st song they taught me was Jerimiah Was A Bullfrog! 😄
@@breathplay112 It's very similar in tone but with more pronounced mid-tones and a little lighter in output than the Harmony (which makes my wife happy since we live in Tiny house!). I had the guitar setup done by Sweetwater and had them install the Fishman Presys electronics and lower the already comfortably low factory action along with moving to Ernie Ball Extra Lights. That might account for the slightly lower output from the factory 12's. I've been playing my friend's 000-15M for about 9 months that he bought from the Chicago Music Exchange and I was very excited when mine arrived and it has a slightly better sustain and brighter highs. I don't know if that's just the luck of guitar lottery or slight changes over the years to the manufacturing process or mahogany sources. I just love Martin's! There's a Taylor I have my eye on to pick up on the used market (when my wife's not looking!) but for now my addiction has to be put to rest...
@@paulhendershott667 Wow! Thanks for a great answer. I had the Harmony but thought mine was lacking something in the mids. Not as sweet as I hoped it to be - it was converted to X-bracing. But I do miss a all-hog guitar and now I have the possibility to buy Harmony again or wait for a 00015….something says I should maybe opt for the Martin this time
Full of the classic blues riffs. Sounded so sweet, even listened to it twice. Great job.
Please please make a tab for this. What an amazing run my friend.
I think he's just kind of improvising so I doubt you will get a tab for this. He's got a good feel for what he's playing that's for sure.
I have the same model 000-15M. Your playing is fabulous!
I’m speechless🎼🎼🎼🎸🎶🎶🎶

I kinda love that rattling new stringy sound . This is too dull for my taste.

@@paulhendershott667 how does it compare to your Harmony?

It suits you great guitar great blues playing
Great job. Been thinking about the 000-15m for blues and I think it’s a go. Thanks
Its a really great sounding instrument, excellent for blues
Solid Mahogany all the way 👌🏼
Wow that’s awesome. Would love more vids with this great guitar and artist!
Awesome... I wish I could get to that point... I'm still playing beginner's 12 bar blues... Thanks for sharing.
The editing in this video is as good as the music
Nice bit of blues. Also like the sound of that mahogany guitar.
Amazing !!! Cheers from Italy. Valter :)
Fine playing
Amazing..very good
Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing it.
This is awesome. I’d pay to see this.
Thank you!!
Beautiful....
Too cool...
Yes what blues song is this please. Very nice. Like the other guy said if you could make a GPX guitar pro file tab wow nice. Please. 👍🏻
Nice playing brother!
You play amazing-I have the same guitar
Thank you! Its definitely the best guitar I've owned
Can you make a tutorial vlog for it.... pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease?
The tone I'm looking for... Do you remember which strings were on? All the strings I tried are either too bright or squeaky.
These were the D'Addario flat tops in phosphor bronze. The flat grind helps reduce finger noise.

Slick pickin bro
Lovely sound and playin! What strings do you use here? Gauge and Brand? Thank you!
Wicked!
Would love a tutorial on this
🔥
Tuned down half step?
beautiful playing! is it the Martin streetmaster 00015m?
No. Streetmaster has multi-toned finish.
What tuning is this
Easy on the ears.
Don't care for the high, discordant, rattle and buzz some like.
I don't hear anything discordant and if there is a rattle it is so insignificant that most would not hear it because I certainly don't.
@@hambone2740 You misunderstood my comment.
Do you have a tab for this?
@JG sorry, I haven't taken the time to tab it out.
