MLB on FOX Full Theme (With All Main Cues)

- I compiled most of the major cues of the MLB on FOX theme into one song, trying to make it flow as well as possible.
I didn't include the new MLB on FOX theme (though I tried) because the only version I've been able to find isn't the same quality as the clips used in this video, plus I couldn't find a logical place to put it in. If anyone has a high quality version of the new theme, I'd appreciate it if you could send it my way.

1. Saturday mornings
2. World series
The 1st one hits harder with joe buck commentating west coast 1 pm Saturday games, and also by transitioning from an out of stadium capture like of the ocean before panning in the stadium for the beginning of a game like at padres, dodgers, giants stadium
3. American league has this for every odd year and the National league has this for every even year. Howhever tbs is the secondary one

Best decision they ever made. All this talk about getting the younger fans interested again. Why the f did they ever get rid of this legendary theme. Glad it’s been back. And there’s been some legendary post season moments since it’s been back.

THIS is baseball music!!! The football music during baseball games makes me think of football. All these years later it doesn't replace this theme and I wish Fox brightens up about this.

They still use this theme; it's just a shorter version and it now samples some of the football stuff.

Unlike football, hockey and basketball, baseball is more sport that you take in rather than sit at the edge of your seat for (barring key moments like full counts with bases loaded and victory on the line, etc.)

I first time heard this theme back in 2001 when the Angels faced the powerhouse Mariners. The theme was so awesome that I got into the MLB. The funny part was that I read baseball books including the baseball rule book as a kid. I was so happy the Angels won the World Series a year later at that time while the MLB on Fox themes were played during those times.

And here is the starting lineup for the home town Chicago Cubs. And they face this Defensive Alignment for the visiting St Louis Cardinals. Seems like that cut @ 3:30 was always to introduce the lineups

Getting rid of this theme was the stupidest thing ever done in the history of television
they did the same thing with nascar they got rid of sideways by dierks Bentley and started using the nfl theme

This year MLB: The Show brought back the feature where you can put your own music in the game. You can put broadcast music in too, and you can even specify the point where you want the music to start. So guess who's game sounds like a Fox broadcast?

as a big Cards fan growing up in a house without cable in the 2000s, this song was the sound of an awesome Saturday and I still hear it in my head whenever I'm headed into Busch
The memories of the 2002 Anaheim Angels winning season always come back with these MLB on Fox old themes. Those game-changing home runs, hits, and K-rod strikeouts were a thing of beauty. Those telecasts were nostalgic especially the 1:21 mark when the Angels pitchers walk to the dugout after the third out to end the innings.

That series is what got me into sports. And the end credits after Game 7 still give me chills.
@@BHTheKid5 I started watching baseball in 2001, but the Angels were mediocre at the time. The team in 2002 had the players from the previous season, and they stayed with their core and signed good free agents. The farm system was really good too. K-Rod was fun to watch and he made a big difference in the postseason. I like his celebrations and his fiery spirit. A 20-year-old doesn't do that, and that's what veterans do. The 2002 World Series had a great Fox telecast and it seems, it doesn't compare to today's broadcasts. Even baseball games were televised on national TV at 1 pm. That's a great time to watch baseball, and even better when I see the Angels on MLB on Fox during the regular season. I always like to see K-Rod pitch in 2002 and he looked like a mean starting pitcher with his wind-up. However, he became the closer instead to replace Troy Percival, who is also a vital pitcher for the 2002 championship squad. I honestly miss the 2002 MLB on Fox telecasts and those World Series games. It was amazing and memorable.

3:30 makes me think of childhood memories of a bright summer afternoon, having friends over to enjoy the pool with the BBQ going in the backyard. While playing in the pool, we would intermittently come inside to check on the score of the Fox Saturday Game of the Week. Can't think of a better summer/baseball song association for me.

Ah this theme is so nostalgic. This was the theme that opened all the Mariners early and mid 2000's games when I was growing up in the Seattle suburbs. It was always awesome because you knew you were gonna see some great highlights of Ichiro hitting a homer, stealing a base or Felix throwing a vicious strikeout. Then they signed with Root sports and got this generic theme that really isn't very good at all.

At least FOX Sports Nets and FS1 use a variation of this during the regular season. (Rabbit ears FOX doesn't use this for their Saturday casts.)

nice job. I thought Fox's coverage was a lot better for using these older themes and it felt very generic and shitty when it just went to the NFL theme for everything. I think they even used it for their UFC and NASCAR coverage too now. They think it represents their FOX brand since NFL was the first sport they covered and thus is their longest running and most recognizable theme music. I just think it's lazy and not as appropriate for the other sports.
@billny33 -- i totally agree. It makes me tear my hair out that they got rid of this for baseball. I don't like baseball at all, but I associate the MLB with this. So unfortunate that they aren't using this for the LAD vs HOU world series!

I agree. I like their NFL theme a lot, but I think they should even get rid if that. They have used it since 1994, the premier season of the NFL on Fox, and I feel like they should eventually come up with a new one. Plus, this theme just sounds like baseball.

I'm a football fan first before any other sport, but i do enjoy basketball and to a lesser degree, baseball, and so I LOVE the NFL on FOX theme and the MLB on FOX themes, but I think the MLB on FOX theme is the best of them. The power, drama, intensity and emotion, just wow!

This is my childhood in a nutshell. 2000 World Series, The Subway Series between the Yankees and the Mets. Roger Clemens beef with the former Dodger catcher Mike Piazza in a 4-0 sweep WS victory by the Yankees. I had a good childhood!
When I close my eyes I'm 17 Years old again and shaking when I heard this theme and game 7 of the 06 NLCS and hearing Beltron was due up this half of the inning
