So this was my humble attempt at composing something using the loops in Logic X

I have followed you since we met backstage in summer 1984 at a battle of the bands at Cougars in Cheektowaga, NY. My band came in second place and your band Zillion won the contest that day. After the show, you came backstage and we exchanged compliments for each other and I was very impressed not only with your phenomenal talent, but you were very personable and intelligent as well. Our manager at the time told us that at your day job at Moog in East Aurora you were told to either cut your hair or find another job. You kept your hair long and have been drumming ever since. I still practice my drums alot at home, but stopped playing gigs a few years ago. I'm glad to have met you when we were 22, and I'm proud that a fellow Western New Yorker made it in that industry. I still remember thinking Zillion was YOUR backup band. Best wishes. You still play like you're 22.Wow.

Mike is a beast. I would be completely wiped out trying to hit those china cymbals on the 2nd floor! Mike is an old school rock drummer that understands entertaining the audience is important just as the sound of the music is. It is a performance and Mike has a great overall approach to his music. Rock on!

Se o cara com Um bumbo só Detona Sempre,, arranca esse segundo bumbo, já sabemos que bumbo duplo não Rola pra tal musico, isso e aquilo, e detona logo no pedal duplo, não vai deixar de ser Mr, Terrana, Ou Mr, Eloy, por causa disso, chega, o sistema já nos prega tantas peças, kkk e ótimo video, Valeu. Mestre Terrana.
Neste caso se reparar o segundo bumbo do Mike é um suporte para metade da bateria dele ..com Ton e estantes de prato

For those of you that have, and will, question why Mike has two bass drums, but is utilizing a double pedal on only one bass drum . . . As a retired studio & touring drummer of 32 years, the most plausible explanation is simply this . . . #1. It is easier to mic one kick drum than two. Less time for sound check if time is of the essence. It also provides for a more uniform sound for fast double kick work. I played double kick all my life, sometimes with one bass drum & a double pedal and sometimes with two bass drums. However, in the studio, 99% of the time we only utilized one bass drum with a double pedal for the points I made above. #2. This is Mike's trademark setup, so yes, appearance is important, but it has nothing to do with caring about appearance over functionality, for reasons I stated above. The mistake was in the filming and thinking that it was in any way necessary to film Mike's feet, ESPECIALLY given the fact that they were only using one bass drum with a double pedal. It's not like we need to see his feet, because we can clearly HEAR and enjoy the impeccable double kick work. So that was nothing more than a production blunder. I've known Mike since the early 1980's when we were both bashing the skins on the Buffalo, NY club circuit and I'm here to tell you that was in no way indicative of Mike's embracing appearance over functionality.
It gives his set up symmetry and also holds his cymbal set up. Looks count to many of us drummers.
