HAHAHA
HUMAN IS THE BEST WOOO i havent rode cylon yet... Afraid i will puke
I feel like the queue is scarier than the ride xD
I always have to wait for people to come in so I can follow them :(
I remember the one in Shanghai Disneyland was so long, some people tried to cut the queue

This is legitimately more scarier than Battlestar Galactica I’m not even joking, mostly because it’s dark and you don’t know what’s happening
No. This is not as scary as Battlestar Galactica. I played all 2 of Battlestar Galactica games and this, and when I play BG-Cylon, I really think that I'm going to die, and all of my organs are going to fall out when the roller coaster goes down, but with Mummy, I am just afraid that I'm going to fall off (not as scary as BG)
Honestly i agree cos i couldnt see the drops and thing but i was dizzy cos i took the cyclon at first HAHA and the first part i just closed my eyes cause i hate jumpscares and stuff
Right. Also I feel saver with over the shoulder restraint, while this ride use lap bars. I know they said lap bars is save, but I feel less secured with it. When the ride drop backwards, I feel like I'm going to fall off. And I can't see anything. I ask my sister are you still there which she answered yes, so I was relieved that she's also not fall off and we both still alive lol
Nah its not scary its fun
Ok maybe it's the Galactica but in a dark and scary version
Honestly, this version of the mummy in Singapore is much faster and more crazier (for me) then the ones in orlando😂 i loved this ride. I mean come on, 6 golden ticket awards for the best indoor rollercoaster in a row😂
Singapore's version beats Orlando's version hands down
I never rode the Singapore version and only rode the Orlando version and I know both of them have the exact same ride layout, but Singapore beats the Orlando version by a mile in the effects department. (Come on, that "'Without this book, you'll never stop me!'" drop-part slams down the "Making a ride ops to a mummy" in the Florida version, though the latter has a certain charm to it.)
Nothing beats the "If only I gotten MY CUP OF COFFEE" ending from the Florida verion though.
The Orlando Mummy actually won the 9 Golden Ticket Awards, not the Singapore Mummy.
Rehan Poonawalla I like the one at universal in Hollywood because the launch is so insane
Did you go to the battlestar and human
I remember riding this and it still haunts me . Scary af
I closed my eyes the first time. REAL CREEPY... because whenever I open my eyes there's creepiness right around the corner. This ride is full of surprises. Whether you rode it before or first time.
omg my name is nina and my bestf name is sophia 😂
chitchel the only time I opened my eyes was the first part and the drop
I remember crying on this ride xd
I was 7 I did not know what this was I was crying at the end
I screamed the loudest when I was riding..... When I got out my throat was hurting.... Lol 😂 I closed my eyes the whole time. Have no idea why some people can go WOOHOO!

Lets appreciate the fact that he can hold his camera to show us all sides of the mummy ride while we can't even let go of our hands from the seat belt
Willing to bet money over doughnuts he was NOT holding to a hand held camera. How could you anyway?
Pretty sure its a headstrap camera or something.
lets appreciate the fact that the intercome repeatedly said put ur hands in ur pockets and he persisted ytog give us this recording LMAo

my family and i went to universal studios singapore when i was about 8 years old. we had done most of the rides there, and then we came across this one. i didn’t like dark rides when i was little, so i was hesitant to get on this one. my dad and i went up to the lady that was greeting people when they walked in and asked her what the ride was like. and she was like “oh it’s just straight with a couple of drops”, so i went “ok let’s go on it”. turns out she forgot to mention all the TRAUMATIC STUFF THAT WAS INSIDE IT. long story short, i left the ride crying.
Oh no! I had a similar experience actually (in my 30s). My wife said she'd been on it and it was just a horizontal darkride that goes between different rooms. So I agreed to go on it. (I'd never been on a real coaster before and didn't want to).
Turns out she got mixed up between the Mummy ride and the Transformers ride, and neither of us were prepared for the fast sections. Still have the photo of me looking mildly fearful and her closing her eyes screaming!
For those who got jumpscare from going backwards, here's a tip: lean your head back on the head rest it will make you feel like you are sleeping 😂 a few drops but it's not intense, because the safety thingy you put over yourself is not like the ones where they put over your shoulder, which would be for more intense rides with 360 degree loop, those are the more intense exciting ones.
This ride is fun I just been there today and went on the ride 4 5 times. It's a good one must try!
My mom's back hurts because of that 😭, phew that my back is ok
Cyclones make my mom head dizzy😊
My first real rollercoaster experience (at age 22) and it was insanely good. I loved everything about this ride so much, from the atmosphere to the thrill of the track itself. I rode both Human and Cylon afterwards and they have their own appeal, however nothing in all of Universal Studios beats Revenge of the Mummy in my opinion. I will likely never get to, but I wish I could ride it again. c:
Man my first experience was like 11 years
My first rollercoaster experience too! Just that I was 12 yrs old, it was so fun I could hear everyone screaming while I sit there silently holding onto my life XD
my friends and i went there for more than 10 times and the person recognised us lmao . we played until it was closed and there is moly the 3 of us left . i love the part when it dropped backwards
bruh i became friends with one of they guys that works there HAHAH because i got season pass so like i rode it so many times probably like few hundred alr until they recognise me 🤦🏻♀️
Omg omg I just ride it yesterday and the part when it goes backwards was scary I almost cried even lf you closed your eyes you can still feel the pressure
@@admin4rea119 OMG im going tmw!
@@admin4rea119 bruh I went today and I literally screamed my lungs out the whole ride .I thought it would at least have a warning before going backwards but obviously it didn't. So I literally went through the whole ride screaming with my eyes open. 'scary' is such an understatement

This is the best part of the ride. It just launches up the rise so fast.
I still remembered that drop and then the turns, I literally closed my eyes most of that ride!
next pls put a night vision
I was screaming so loud on that ride when I was there I even remember crying after the ride
Honestly seeing from the wntire structure, queue, the detail and immersion they put u in, this gotta be the best one out of all the ones they have. I mean the sifferent scenes they have then the car turns! And the fire ceiling! The animatronics
I still remember the woman on the entrance saying "this is a high speed roller coaster" and I thought she was just kidding within the first minute of the ride O^o
soryy the first MINUTE?! within the first 40seconds you are dropping
Y’all I had NO idea this was a rollercoaster I convinced my nearly 60 year old aunt to join me lmaoo when this shit started moving fast there was no going back for her 💀💀
Hands down my favorite ride there!!
We’re there loops? Or it’s just fast? I hope your aunt is still okay after the ride!
There is a signboard on the wall that stated it's a high speed roller coaster ride though. I noticed that too late and my whole body was trembling hahaha. 😂😂😂
The park map also lists it as an extreme ride. There are no loops though. If your wife says it's not a roller coaster, don't believe her!
The time i rode it.
After the backward drop i closed my eyes for the whole time '^'
Lol while backward drop I feel like I almost fall of the roller coaster. I ask my sister hey are you still there? She said yes,and I'm relieve she's not fall off and we both still alive lol
I went in this and I just kept screaming af 😂😂😂

At first i was terrified, screaming and also crying a little but then at the end i loved it and i went on it 3 times. One of my fav roller coasters in universal studios. (And i hate big drops so yk this is one good roller coaster)
Hello. I'm Korean I heard this roller coaster is fast. Is it a falling-down format? Or do you go fast in a straight line? I can't ride the falling roller coaster because it hurts my heart, so I ask in advance. Please comment
@@전승환-n5i ya same question here and I was scrolling down the comments to find one
@@전승환-n5i hello its not a straight line.. it drops down fast and going sideways.. also take note that its dark inside no lights
This is scary to be honest xD I cried a little bit at the end and it's because the winds like hit so hard to my face that my eyes cried xD It was so fasttt I couldnt 😂
Eri Hirabayashi hi, heard that the mummy ride includes a 360 degree turn. Is that true?

i have motion sickness so i dont really go on rollercoaster rides but i tried this out as my first rollercoaster experience and the THRILL of this ride was just insane!! most of it you literally could not see there were both forward and backward drops. it was INSANE. definitely a 10/10!!!
i have motion sickness too. did it make you dizzy during the backward drops? i’m fine with everything but the backward feelings in rides
I loved it. I went 5 times for this one. Just absolutely incredible
I remember going on this ride at least 8 times!! Such an amazing ride
The newer version is truly fascinating, i tried it with my friends like 6 months ago and the difference is pretty coherent in comparison to the older one.

Sounds like Imhotep discovered Juul pods.
This is one hell of a ride..feels like you are falling into a dark void at full speed..for someone who is afraid of roller coaster rides glad that i survived this. 😅
You can see the path, that’s the most horrifying thing.
i agree!my first time there i didnt know this was a serious roller coaster, i thought it was a storyline ride like puss in the boots or something AND THEN I SAW THE FUCKING DROP TO LIKE THE BOTTOM OF THE EARTH
@@pinkribbon1007 yes same
I DIDN'T KNOW THIS WAS A ROLLER COASTER TILL THAT FIRST BACKWARDS DROP. I thought it was a 3D ride or something 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I screamed as loud as i can at this ride, my heart just droped multiple times
One in Singapore is better than Orlando, can confirm, road it when it first opened there!!
Couldn't see the difference...
I think i heard Wilhelm Scream
aaronanimates, Are you sure?
It’s so much faster now! I also lost my shoe on the ride 😂
Easily 60km/h probably, it feels pretty quick since it’s pitch black but it’s so fun!
@@MaxMax-zi8ys The max real speed is 72 km/h, / 45 MPH based on trusted sources & wikipedia as always.
It's so insanely fast and the fact it's only a restrain to hold yourself on the ride, makes you feel like you're gonna fall off.
It’s a fun ride to go on but the speed is another story!
There was no warning on this one. You don't even know it is a coaster until it is too late! And then yeah it just gets intense 🤣
I am going USS tomorrow, I want to go on this ride so is the ride loud?
I rode it in early 2020 and there were signs up saying it was a high speed rollercoaster, and the park map brochure also says it is.
My wife insisted that she'd been on it and it wasn't a roller coaster. Foolish me believed her. I got the last laugh, the photo showed her screaming! (She'd gotten mixed up with the Transformers ride).
There are no loops though, that I remember?
Went on this when I was here on holidays, screamed so fuckin much and they also have like heat in ur face when fire shows
Luckymel Lee ikr
An easter egg: During the queue, you will encounter a hole in the wall with a projection of some decoration (a vase, a pyramid, etc..) interacting with it will jumpscare you with a loud sound and air blowing. The lights in the current room and nearby rooms will then black out momentarily.
It may be kinda scary but just go for it and put your hand in the hole, the jumpscare is really cool.
Man this gives me nostalgia
I went to singapore for travelling and i went to universal studios and i went to revenge of the mommy it was so SCARY and i liked the ride too
survived this by not looking and tight holding
SAME BRO
We went there last 2012. While I was waiting in line, I saw people crying everytime the ride is finished. Then when I tried it, it was the scariest ride of my whole life
You should try cylon after doing the mummy without crying atleast 10 times.
@@awieudufu I wasn't able to try the ride because the last time we went there, I was still 9 years old.
@@drei9921oh,I went to cylon when I was 9 and the mummy made me used to it.It’s a really good trick to try so you can get more used to cylon

I went to Singapore and I went on this a million times! ITS SO FUN,,
Welcome to SG!
as someone who is terrified of rollercoasters but has been on quite a few, this one wasn't that scary tbh. I think the entire vibe and the way it was done was quite scary but the actual ride in itself wasn't so scary. I didn't even feel the drop and you couldn't even see it cause it was so dark. definitely a really good ride but not as scary as people claim
Is it true that USS's revenge of the mummy ride includes a 360 degree turn? (Just asking as I'm going there next week) :)
Jav tan It moves backwards and 360 too! I personally like the Mummy ride best In USS. Try out the Dual Rollercoaster Battlestar Galactica too!
Quan Ng human and cylon?
+Quan Ng oh ya, the 360 turn is a small one?
You mean a loop? Personally I hate loops and I have rode on this once. I was too shaken to wonder if there’s a loop lol.
Seanthemost 3 No. The car goes on a turntable and literally rotates 360º. It doesn't go upside down.
2:07 there is a flash, photo were taken. I think that is the section where the ride plunges downward in darkness. Scary af
although its basically the same as Orlando, this version looks a tad better than the one we have.
Singapore rules!!
+Dream big scary or not i havent try
+Muhd Haikal oh it actually depends on the person. Personally for me it was super scary whilst my friends said it was nothing. Really depends if you are a roller coaster type of person. However, it was definitely very fun and I think you should try it !!:)
+Dream big is this is a express
+Muhd Haikal what do you mean ?
Watching this video to see what I had missed out on because I had my eyes closed after the first drop. I was too terrified to even scream and was silently crying. My sister actually got scared seeing me cry. It felt like I was in a lot of pain and that something horrible was happening to me. I’ll probably never go on anything like this again. But I’m still glad I tried it.
When i first went there i had no idea it was going to be that scary.
This was one of the most unforgettable ride of my life.. I was literally screaming for dear life.
Yet i am still wondering how did you get your cam in there when it was not allowed ahahaha.

Keep all your electronics and devices inside your pockets now!
Him: No😂
I did this ride alone, at 8pm..with my daughter and husband waiting outside and the ride doors closed. I was the only person on this hell scary ride , screaming my lungs out, eyes tight shut! I even started praying to Gods at one point in time! Hell of a terrific roller coaster! Must do if you are visiting USS Singapore! It would have been a terrible miss if I had not done it!
I remember riding this when I was 11 and it was one of my first rollercoasters. Scared the hell outta me when it dropped backwards and I never looked up for the rest of the ride, bummer 😂
I tried this for the first time (Also this is my first rollercoaster ride ever) when I was 15 years old because I was tricked by my cousin who told me this ride is a normal slow ride and like a museum tour. When I was queueing she keep distracting me like talking with me or taking photos. At the second ride I realized she didnt want me to see the TV screens along the queue path who detailedly explain that this ride is a high speed rollercoaster with a real footage of the ride.
But the backward drop was my favorite lmao. I was scared because everything was dark after that and a lot of creepy voices but after my second ride, not really lol
100% would do this again if I come to Singapore again, hopefully after this pandemic
Went there a couple days ago regretted not putting my phone in the locker and my glasses to so I was fighting for my life so my things don't fly away and I was most definitely sacred cuz i hate fast roller coaster
I tried this last week. My expectation was so so high because of the comments and after the ride, Im still looking for more. And I said, “thats it?” But after a day, it haunts me up until now. The late reaction tho. 😂 And btw, havent tried any rides before in my whole life. This is the first. I love this one.
Fav ride by far, I love that I can't actually see anything, it's comforting for me, better then human ane cyclone but I liked those as well
My head was down the whole time riding this
i like the sets better on this ride but i like the audio and scrip better in Orlando better.
The The reason for that is that the story on this one is different. The story of the Orlando Mummy actually includes the coffee thing, whereas the Singapore Mummy doesn't. But I agree, that's an awesome part of the ride!!
USS Singapore version is book of the living/
Orlando version is Medjai.
a year ago when i got there, i challenged my friends not to scream, and ngl i'm the only one who didnt scream on the ride
I just went yesterday is was HORRIFYING AND SCARY when it’s suddenly pulled back without warning I cried lol
This one beats only 1 thing from the one in Florida, the part where Imhotep appears behind the book is better than the Fake Exit room in the Florida version.
Believe it or not I was tricked to ride it after watching this video thought it just slow ride and my soul almost left my body and continuously begging it to stop xD
The back part was so unexpected for me, I thought some gate was going to open at the front but no 😂
I remember riding this last December 6 2014 because its my Birthday though.... I thought its just a shooting ride! And im like 9 or 10 years old that time... it was fun and dizzy! I cant even scream because of the 4 LOOPS! As i remember.. Why 4 loops? Because of the first part 2 loops then reverse 2 loops again
Roblox Flesk Gaming wait so it overturns?
i remember theres a backwards drop and 3 forward drops
what do you mean overturns?
loops.
This ride has zero loops. It doesn't go upside down.
I accidentally went on this ride and it scared me. 😢
I went on that ride it is the best and I am going back tomorrow ha
This ride is my favorite of all time!
AWESOMEEEEEEE I went there last week and it was so awesome

Everyone: AHHHHHHH. Him: WHEEEEEEEEEEE
So one time I went to Universal Studios Singapore, and I remember that this particular time I visited, I was the only one on the roller coaster when it was my turn (I only sat in it once on that day lol), so it was pretty cool going through the whole thing by myself
Hello. I'm Korean I heard this roller coaster is fast. Is it a falling-down format? Or do you go fast in a straight line? I can't ride the falling roller coaster because it hurts my heart, so I ask in advance. Please comment
@@전승환-n5i Alrighty, most of the ride will not be going in a straight line unless it starts to slow down, so the fast portions will mostly be going around in a mess (? Like it doesn't have a super long drop, but it does fall down and goes back up very quickly), also it goes backwards at one point but not very fast. But either way, it does not go fast in a straight line until it's speeding up. That's what I remember from the times I rode this ride. Sorry for the messy explanation, I haven't ridden this in awhile! 😅

The most important thing to bring for roller coaster rides is earplug. Sometimes the very high pitch some people can do might scare you more than the rides itself 😂

Is this the same as the Hyperspace Mountain in Disneyland or is this more extreme?
This ride was my worst enemy ever because last time I ride here because I was forced to and I was feeling so scared that it was scary but no one believed me and my mom just told me to be quiet. As the ride started everything was fine until when the door thingy was about to close I was panicking of fear because the ride had extreme drops and after the ride I was angry because no one believed me that it was scary (especially my mom).
Is it an extreme roller coasters? Like cylon and galactica?

I've only ridden the Orlando version, but it's not as bad as people say. It's actually quite fun, the only bad side is that it's in the dark
+Michelle Velasco no this one doesnt have any overturns and it only has 3 drops, mild compared to the 2
Not really but its still a hyper-active ride tho.
Michelle Velasco nope cylon is very very fast mummy is just like a baby ride
This is a crazy ride. Scary and exciting at the same time
And this is the reason why I'm scared of roller-coasters
I still remember when I was 11 I gone to Universal studios I ride this mummy roller coaster 3 times by myself it's too much thrilling totally loved the most amazing roller coaster I ever tried😍
I'm Korean and really bad at rollercoasters, but I went in because my family said it was a place to look around. But this was it... I said I rode a backdrop....! I had to keep my eyes closed and my head down for 3 minutes. It was horrible. Somehow the weird thing was I waited for about an hour or two in the queue and it was very spacious inside. My mom and dad put my stuff in the locker and I didn't notice then... 6 years ago... Now that I think about it, I think this is the only ride I've ever been on properly. I can't remember much else, and the bottom line is, make sure you ride this!
How did u not drop your phone
Finally gave myself some courage and ride it after I chickened out when I was little. Really fun, and the drops actually surprise me.
Also, in the fire scene, I scream how hot the room it is (Even though it is not, I just did it for fun lol)
This made me cry when I was little but I love it now
