Hi guys, i just wanna give you an idea...
To know the position of the glasses, for them to stop for the drinks.. or actuate somehow.. what if you put on the botom each glasse, something magnetic, and in the platform some reed switchs?👍
Have a Nice day, and a great job.
    Greetings from Portugal👍👍👍

hey, love what you've done, just a suggestion though: wouldn't rotating the dispensers work better than moving the drink? it would allow for quicker filling (because you wouldn't need to worry about drinks falling)

We thought about that initially. I'm afraid to spin those dispensers, though, because they are really flimsy. I'd rather have a drink go flying than an entire bottle of gin. We're going to 3d print some cupholders to prevent them from moving :)

+Hacker House ah that makes sense, that would also prevent from it being dispensed poorly (because it the glass was placed wrong) but if you wanted to change your mind, you could have the bottles fixed above the dispensers with rubber hose connecting it to the rotating dispensers, but even that might end up not working well. good call

We're glad you like them! They are called spirit dispensers -- you can usually find them on Amazon or Ebay. Here's a link to the ones I bought: www.ebay.com/itm/Oggi-Professional-3-Bottle-Revolving-Liquor-Dispenser-/301994639019?hash=item4650487eab:g:qqwAAOSwepJXbGl4
If you're interested, we've also listed most of the components that we've shown so far on our hackaday.io page: hackaday.io/project/12260-robotic-bartender-v2

Hello, I really like your robotic bartender. I was also planning a project like this but quite different than what you guys made and I want to ask, instead of using spirit dispensers what other dispenser or valve can you suggest? Thank you.

Hello, is there a way to program the system to take off an ingredient on the fly. for example. my sister like Long Island iced tea, but she don't like tequila in it. is there a way to do that?

    Hi.
We are students studying IOT in Korea.
While looking for a project on the project, I saw your video clip.
    It was amazing!
We're actually trying to mimic this.
But we don't know what materials we need, how we need to implement them, and what we don't know.
If you don't mind, I'd like to get your help.
Because I am poor at English now, I use a translator to contact you.
    I'd appreciate your answer.

why you don't move the bottle instead the cup??
