Dude this is insanely helpful, thanks a lot. I downloaded Anomaly Expedition modpack and like half of the weapon have broken positions, this is life saving
Thank you for this wonderful guide, you helped me tremendously! However, i'd like to point out one major flaw in it. While naming the .ltx file you can't just come up with an arbitrary name, rather, you ought to indicate the exact weapon's name from its config.
How come some settings apply while others dont? I have all the values in the correct folder but the in game values keeps resetting on some specific guns/values.
The game doesnt save my edited values, it only works when I edit them in game but after a while everything is reset to default even though I follow your process how to save the files inside gamedata, still after 30 secs of playing my newly edited alt aim disappears
For some reason whenever i approach a wall in the debug area with the weapon hud it goes back to its normal position du to the cover tilt thing included in GAMMA which also causes the hud editor to stop working for some reason, best to avoid activating the tilt thing whilst editing the Guns position.
I did as in the video, but only another rifle mod_system_l96a1_repos.ltx , where do I send the file next? it lies in the cache dbg folder and nothing changes, tell me what did I do wrong?
I had the same issue, don't forget to download "Draggable HUD Editor" and instal it (at the beginning of the video), you should be able to drag with the left click
@@kamil3381 I followed the video exactly and they still reset to default after playing 30 seconds or after restarting the game. I saved the config and debug files like he did in the game installation folder btw. I dont know what's wrong
Really helpful tutorial dude. Does the mod_system_*name*_repos.ltx file let you apply edits without having to manually go through each config for every modded weapon? do you know if the same method works with vanilla anomaly weapons?
Yep, you can merge all your changes into one file to keep track of it easier, just head to my other tutorial video and skip to 1 : 30 in it and that shows how to do so. This same position editing method works for all weapons in any mod or modpack, as long as they run on Anomaly
Unfortunately no such method exists. Due to how Anomaly handles weapon files, each position has to be specified one by one as it's how the engine reads the .ltx files when deploying them
@@ダンバダンバ only way is to do it with the method outlined in the video. It's an absolute pain but due to engine limitations it's the way it has to be done
Thank you comrade! I did everything as shown in the video, then restarted the game and everything works perfectly.

holy shit man, thank you so much, did my first few gun repositions and im really happy with them
Bro I’ve been litterally looking for a vid like this
They're not appearing in my game and I've followed your steps to the T! I have no idea what I'm doing wrong..
A link to the mod in the desc wouldve been nice. But great vid.

Try running the game as administrator.

How do you aim and have debug menu open? It doesn't work for me. It automatically cancels aiming, making it impossible for me to adjust aim position

it doesn't let me move my gun when in this Weapons HUD. I try clicking (left mouse button) but nothing happens.. Am I doing something wrong here?

Not linking the music in the description should be a crime!
Thank you, man. Very useful
what is the bgm
How do you save these after applying them. They revert back to default after hitting ‘resume’
Click on "Save" and as he does in the video, go do the changes in the games files to save your weapons HUD changes as default.

Fire soundtrack
facts
for some reason the reposition repositions everything in my inventory
For that reason, you should load the test environment (F2) at startup. That way you can make your changes without messing with your playthrough!

Can for stalker anomaly to???
Game crashed when i select weapon that i edited :(
this is a nice guide, but how can we apply it to let's say all the rifles/shotguns/smg's all at once without having to do them 1 by 1

not possible sadly
