One of the best, if not the only, video I've seen about graphics settings for recording and general gameplay, instead of about how many frames you can squeeze out of it. Definitely gonna be using some of these tips for my own videos!
I'd add the console command cfg_load grading_warm, since it help eliminate the dark circle around character and remove the blue tint. The Natural Reshade (RTGI Option) is also quite a nice choice imo. Color is pleasant, close to real life and light-weight. Personally I'd make my own preset using only quint_regrade (has everything) and Glamarye fast effects (mostly for AO) and a bunch of sharpenings :D

I was waiting for you to touch on that again. What reshade settings am I to enable to smooth edges with the reshade menu?
Sorry, I should have been more clear. The presets I use (phr0zac's area X/grim) commonly utilize FXAA which is an option in the ReShade menu. It's less demanding and doesn't muddy up the image too much, which is why it's my preference. If you're having trouble zoning in on what settings you like, I suggest seeing how it's setup in a phr0zac preset as a starting point and go from there.

Would you clarify this please? One thing I've found helps performance for me is to turn anisotropic filtering off in game and set this in Nvidia control panel.

Disabling AF will make distant textures at shallow angles (e.g. roads) look terrible. AF 16x is like 1-2 fps max on any decent GPU. As far as AA goes, in-game SMAA should be kept on max, but MSAA set to off (it's the general anti-aliasing setting). It's not that MSAA doesn't work, it's just that the performance overhead is terrible and better utilized for higher resolutions with DSR/DLDSR.
I'm going to have to figure out what re-shading is because it wasn't well explained. I'm a new Stalker fan, but I WISH you had it great video though no hate just love!

Just asking because I was wondering, since grass can be adjusted for height and density, maybe it was never considered foliage in the first place? Can you help me? I just upgraded my CPU and now im getting weird lagspikes/stutters, it is especially apparent when looking and moving my camera next to a campfire, I have no clue why upgrading my CPU would cause this weird issue
@hank6490 I had a similar issue when upgrading recently so you're not alone... Now this is completely based on my specs, my audio seemed to be bugging out my performance, especially around anomalies. In the mod launcher I enabled "turn this on if you stutter" and in the menu before launching (where you enable dx version etc..) I enabled- "prefetch sounds". This worked for me immediately and fixed my stuttering and audio issues around campfires and anomalies. Again, this might not work as I don't know your rig/setup but this was a solution that worked for me. Hope this helps Hank, good luck!
What CPU did you upgrade to? This is an older engine, so it just simply doesn't like some newer hardware. What I've noticed is that big multi-core builds don't jive super well with Anomaly, but anything with faster individual cores seem to run well.

look up some mic tips or voivee recording tips. its very unpleasant to hear saliva pops and tongue smacks right in your ear. also consider practicing your narration voice if you plan on making more narrated videos, as the low register tends to cause your voice to break or sound crackly. natural breathing pauses and proper pacing also help

For me, the sun godrays appear out of the ground aswell as out of the sun not sure how to fix it other than keeping the godrays off

its because of atmospheric's SSS settings, they really tank frames

I had to enable v sync in my card settings to stop the stutter around fires and Radiation Anomalies
