It makes me sad because this organization may never bounce back from this slanderous rumor. There are still a lot of people whom believe it. And that's a real shame because, through your visit, we now know they are in fact doing genuine conservation work. This is the bad side of the internet. Although it allows good& important info to be shared worldwide in moments it also allows baseless rumors to spread at that speed as well....smh...

I bought from established titles. For all the grandkids as a conservation reserve. After more research we’ll be buying from highland titles.

After much more research. We bought titles for all the family 😂.

This isn’t conservation. It’s a scam designed to part gullible people from their money. If you want to plant some trees, just go and do it . Anywhere in the world. We don’t need anymore pulp trees planted here in Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I bought some land on Jan 17th and certificates never arrived (today is 5th of march). I think It is a scam. Why should I trust their online propaganda when they can't even organise one simple thing: sending a mail.

Thank you for this! I have been going back and forth about buying a plot of land through Highland Titles. I thought it was a brilliant gift idea for my husband, but then noticed all these scam videos. I almost decided against it, until arriving here.

I bought from Highland Titles back at the onset of the COVID pandemic - couldn't travel anywhere so decided this would be a good vicarious thing that would help conservation at the same time, in a country I'd always loved visiting.
I never thought I'd legally be a titled "Lady". In fact, I used the name I use in the Society for Creative Anachronisms (a medieval-recreation group) , rather than my legal one. I bought a 10 square foot spot. Someday I would love to visit it, although it was clear from the very outset that I could do nothing on it except maybe have a picnic or such there. The land was meant to be conserved, and conserved in the best way possible by the stewards of that land.
I was and am fine with that, although I found myself having a bit or more of concern when the Established Titles scams were revealed. Thanks for this video.

Thank you for your work, and your witnessing, Aaron.
Such an interesting video. I have to say you're very distinguished and polite, and your wife full of joy and kindness.

The conservation aspect of Highland Titles is great. You know what would also be great? Not hiding their profits in a tax haven (they registered their business in Guernsey). Planting a few trees is a great way to deflect attention from their tax avoidance.

The problem is the Scotland law prevents ownership of land in this way. I'm not saying that the nature conservancy efforts from the purchase of the supposed titles are not real though. I noticed that you are not saying that the titles are real but are saying the money 🤑 from the purchase of the titles are going to a legit organization. So one problem still remains is that the titles are a gimmick.

Thank you for your videos. Because of them my wife and I are now "land owners" in Scotland too. What a novel and great way to allow many of us to be a part of something good for Scotland. Yep, my DNA roots go way back into Scotland's past.

@@nazeersadek6705 Nothing related to this video. There was a big flurry on YT about a different title group that was making claims they couldn't back up, so anything selling souvenir plots was swept into the same bucket.

I have bought some land for my friend as a gift on Jan 17th and my gift certificates never arrived and it is 5th of March today. It has never left UK either. I think I was just scammed. No complaints work, they just say they are sorry. I don't think they do anything good with the money either. So, don't buy and don't be fooled, they are scammers.
