Believe me if bill burr appreciates someone, he is good no doubt.
I agree
Dave is way funnier, has been around longer and is known to more people than Bill Burr is lol if anything, if Dave says someone’s funny, they’re really funny. You got it backwards.
@@BijinMCMXC That was the whole point of the video smartass all these comedians were saying that, including Bill. Also, BIll has been on Chappelle's Show numerous times it's not that big of a stretch to assume Dave finds him "funny".
atlas atlas I don’t need you to explain the point of the video to me. Obviously, I was responding to this COMMENT specifically, not the overall video. A lot less people have heard of Bill Burr than Chapelle so what they said was backwards. Now if Eddie Murphy (who is a LEGEND) were in this video and he thought Dave was funny (which he does), then that really means something. His opinion holds more weight than Burr. You don’t put the person who came later and is less famous over the person who has achieved more, is more widely known, is more talented and has been around longer. Duh. That’s like saying well if Pink says Beyoncé is good, she really must be good!
@@BijinMCMXC I did not even explain the point of the video at all in my comment and again, it should've been clear if you watched the video. It's gone over your head. You have missed the point. We are not watching this video to see Joe Rogan, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, Katt Williams, and Bill Burr reaffirm the notion that Dave is one of the greatest to ever do it in comedy. They are showing their respect. In spite of how cutthroat and fiercely competitive the business of comedy is, these comedians who are to say the least doing well for themselves are showing deference to Dave. Making a statement like "Dave Chappelle is a great comedian" or "Eddy Murphy is a comedy legend" is not a revelation to anyone. Since when were we comparing whose opinion mattered more between Bill and Dave? That shit is such schoolyard argument dribble.
katt williams compliment.. bruh when did he praise anyone but himself. now that's high praise.
Katt williams is not funny at all. He's like what Michael Jackson is to Comedy.
fox news praise.
@@azarus8806 choke on a stick you bastard
@@azarus8806 you're making no fucking sense with that sentence
Katt Williams is funny and is way funnier than Kevin Hart which all these kids find funny nowadays
The black white supremicist sketch is the funniest thing ive ever seen in my 31 years of existence.
Hands down I say it all the time. Funniest sketch ever in any form of media
Absolutely
Occidental Savage I’m glad that show aired when it did back in the early 2000s. No way it would’ve been accepted now days with people getting offended. That sketch is gold
The pay off: Why he divorced his wife
That’s commitment
Clayton Bigsby hahaha
Bill Burr's words ring even more true today now that Sticks and Stones is out. That was the final infinity stone. Game over. Chapelle is the GOAT.
Oliver Crandon sorry dog !!! Richard Pryor is easy
@@louissalas9754Nah bro. Pryor was good, but Chappelle just had this way that is truly impeccable. His form of comedy is unlike any other. It's his own style that is unpredictable. For instance, in the special before sticks and stones, he did a joke where he told the punchline BEFORE the story of the joke, and it was still hilarious. That was like Michael Jordan shoot free throws with his eyes closed. No one can do it like Chappelle.
@@the_20th_letter Excellent comparison.
Dave is king
@@the_20th_letter Pryor invented it dude
Dave Chapelle is the GOAT
Carlin and Chappelle are the best two comics of all time
@@BigBadWolf.............. Agree. but i would also add some more up there, because it's so hard to rank so many different comedians i like...but i would have to add Bill Hicks right up there, also.
Dave got it by studying Richard Pryor..etc...etc...
@Jarrel Ely ...are you fucking serious? Log off. Forever.
@Jarrel Ely lol chappelle. no contest
When Bill Burr gets humble, and highlights a fellow comedian? That is my heaven. Pretty sure he does not do that with a lot of guys. He knows he is good, he knows the game. But when he knows there is a champion out there who could kick his standup ass? Class act. Class act.
The two people I’ve heard Burr speak so highly of is Chappelle and Patrice Oneal
@@ayrmendina8314 and Norm MacDonald
Yessir 💪🏽
If Bill Burr can speak about Dave Chappelle like that, you can be damn sure that Dave is the greatest
What the FUCK dose that even mean, you white people are the STUPIDEST
The great thing about David Chappelle is really simple .He understands black and white people in all situations and can speak on all of them. And that's the tip of the ice berg.
He understands white people mainly because of his friend *CHIP* .
You sound dumb...all his white joke are just steriotipical
*WE'RE NOT GOONNNA TAKE IT*
@@shieldbrother7425 so are his black jokes, and chinese jokes. Dave goes in on every race including his own. I mean this dude roasted Anish people ffs.
His white jokes are typical and cliche.
When will Joe Rogan actually get Dave on! Waiting....
Joe is down, but Dave is probably like "fuck the industry".
He was on the breakfast club
@@aminman15 Joe's not the industry..
@@BigstickNick lol, I see your point, but do you think a person like Dave gives a fuck?!...
@@aminman15 Yes, yes I do. Dave is one of the kindest celebs out there. You might meet him on the streets and ask him if he'd be a guest at your home and he might do it. The most down to earth, realest celeb out there.
After his new special, this video and these comics words ring more true than ever.
Facts
Preach
Grab some audio from George Carlin and Lenny Bruce.
Carlin destroyed that whole environmental BS

you will laugh
more than a year ago and still tru too this day! i havent even seen and haters in the comments, true gold
The reason why he is regarded as a G.O.A.T in most comedians eyes is that Dave Chapelle completely transcends telling you jokes. He makes every comedian who follows or come before him look one dimensional because he doesn't just throw worked up jokes to you.He makes the audience feel like hes just talking and it just so happens some of it is funny.
He is giving you memoirs and state of the addresses in comedy form but primarily he is connecting with the audience through just great storytelling.
He is also afforded the luxury of a career and a lifestyle that allowed for him to jump up on stage and work the crowd to a master level by just going up and telling stories and paying clubs to just let him go up and freestyle just to gain crowd control and interact with the people and have a personal connection.
When he is not on stage he is secluded from the fame life and is just a family man.So when he does go on stage it's like him sneaking out the house for a drink with the fellas.
That last sentence describes his acts perfectly. He's done 3 hour shows where he doesn't even plan material, he just talks to people in the crowd as if they're lifelong friends and keeps people consistently engaged with his character alone. He's 100% the best stand up of all time and potentially the most interesting man of all time.
Ive never seen Katt talk about any comedian with that much respect. That says it all about Chappelle.
In an era where regulating speech is not enough, rather regulating thought is the ultimate goal. Dave Chappelle is a defibrillator to the heart of freedom. If you CHOOSE to watch Sticks and Stones expect to laugh at others but be prepared to laugh at yourself too.
His jokes are intricate, layered, well thought out, and subvert expectations. Great comedy heals by making a mockery of terrible things and this is exactly what Dave does in Sticks and Stones.
Idiotic Tirades My opinion is that he did exactly that in his previous Netflix specials, it was a bit more hard hitting in Sticks and Stones but it’s basically just a more hard hitting “ double down” on what he already said in his previous special as far as the anti PC stuff goes anyway. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed this one just as much but if you watch his previous one right before you watch Sticks, you can see the difference. The writing is more thought out and creative.
@@jwdathefax377
I agree that he hasn't changed the formula. I've watched his previous 2 specials on Netflix and I very much enjoyed them.
Dave is king.
Imo Dave Chappelle is the king of comedy nobody can come close to him. There is no one better just my opinion. Wish him the best luck in life.
@Jarrel Ely Chris's last special Tambourine was some weak shit. He's lost it, not growing as a comedian anymore and Chapelle has left him behind and still hasn't hit his full stride.
Your opinion is a fact.
For those of you who want a JRE episode:
Joe said he and Dave talked about doing it. Dave's down, but he's such a free spirit that Joe knows to just let it happen. He said something to the effect of: "Dave will just text me then he'll drive down to the studio. He'll do it when he feels like it."
Kat Williams I am the king of the rest of comedy I’ll tell you that LMAO
Katt Williams having so much respect for Dave always makes me smile
If rappers learned to respect their peers like how these comedians respect each other
When Kat William's praises you....I mean! Kat William can sell a joke and I LOVE IT!! He has me crying. Bernie, katt and dave are my 3 OG'S GOATS in that order
Bernie Mac was every black person's king 💯💯💯
Who else is here after the Sticks and Stones special?
I consider myself lucky that I got to watch Dave when he was young and just started getting on tv with his stand up act
Dave Chappelle is a national treasure.
Great insights. Great topics. Great storyteller. Great voices. And amazing timing. It is fascinating to compare his early bits to his latter. He slows down markedly and uses pauses brilliantly to build tension, then hits his jokes at the perfect time.
A year after this vid and Dave is still killing it!
I love the respect and humility of these guys.
Louis Ck, George Carlin, and Dave Chappelle. The Three Greats for me.
The Bbig Three
In my top 5 definitely along with Richard Prior and Eddie Murphy/Chris Rock
Missing Robin Williams on there too
In case you forgot: Bill Burr was on Chappelle's Show a few times (Racial Draft, Sam Jackson Beer)
The reason why many comedians and fans consider Dave Chappelle the GOAT of stand up comedy is because he's smart. Raised right by smart educated parents in a middle class neighborhood, so you know he says things that are true and knows what reality topics can be humour.
Just want to say I wish the best for kat William's
Kevin heart tells that story like he happy as hell to even be around Dave Chappelle that he tells every interviewer he runs into
Dave Chappelle is the man 2022!! 💯💪 Massive love from NZ 🇳🇿💯💪
What BILL Burr said is no joke. Same thing I thought after watching sticks and stones. No fat. That was some freaking surgical comedy. Precise. Not a single wasted or impotent syllable in the entire runtime. GOAT
He is my favorite comic of all time...Rogan said it - a fuckin’ genius.
It feels like we've been talking about Chappelle in the past tense for so long, that now he's resurrected from the dead and has come back with all his Glory and people are in awe of him.
Dave Chappelle is the 2pac of comedy and Bill Burr is the Eminem of comedy.
Abinash Gogoi and you’re the cringe 16 year old of the comment section
@@jacobmorales323 a simple comment made you cringe?? Grow up dude.
@Boomer Nusgrk be nice boomer
Bill burr ain’t the Eminem of comedy
@@matthewmandli He kinda is. He has black friends, a black wife and stands with black people.
Everyone sounds good, and becomes a new favourite, until I listen to Dave Chapelle or Bill Burr.
They are yin and yang of stand of comedy if you know what I mean
Yeah true they are on a whole another lvl, after watching them for years no other comedian can impress me.. And i hate it xD
Both are amazing
Bill Burr and Dave Chappelle are the two wittiest comedians, bar none. They're just on another level. I love that Burr admires him this much. I'm sure that Dave thinks very highly of Burr as well. Respect to all of these guys.
Only three celebrities I would like to meet Dave Chappell, Mos Def, and Nas
And they all know each other very well😁
i got to catch Dave in Amsterdam a few years ago, at the end, he brought up a suprise guest, Mos Def himself!! Great suprise for me
He had Mos Def in a couple of episodes in Chappelle Show and a cameo in one his skits if my memory serves me right. Now I gotta dig into that DVD box set and see it again lol.
Dave Chappelle is a legend, easily the funniest person i’ve ever had the privilege to experience. Phenomenal person through and through
LONG LIVE THE KING, DAVE CHAPPELLE!!! 👑
I feel like Bill Burr's opinion is more important than the others.
Why? Because he's white?
Well, that's like, your opinion, man.
@@Adgjoutfxss lol nice quote
Chris Rock I feel holds more weight with his opinion
Harsh Gautam to unquestionably say that bill burrs opinion is worth more than Chris rock and Katt Williams is insane. I feel like you either haven’t watched a lot of their comedy, or simply can’t relate to it
I love a lot of stand up comedians, Burr, Louis CK, Ansari, etc.. Dave Chappelle is the best to ever do it. His Standup specials are among the best ever made, his show is some of the best television to ever air. Dave Chappelle is unmatched in modern comedy just like he was in the comedy scene in 2000.
This is great
Dave didn't change. ..he just got another network ...
The man is a genius!!! Great to see other people who know him speak so highly of him But to those who put the thumb down..really!!🤔🙄...
Bill Burr fronting like the difference between him and Chappelle is time 🤣🤣🤣
What Dave Chapelle is to Comedy Industry is basically what Beyonce is to Music Industry
Exactly! You will literally almost never hear anyone bad mouthing dave. They all love, adore, and respect Dave! ✨🤍
Dave Chappell number 1 to this day ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥
Chappelle to comedy is like Einstein to science.
Joe and Dave doing a roadtrip RIGHT NOW
The ODB sends his regards " du du du du"
Dave is the best living comedian today
I swear joe knows a little of everything
If bill burr say that he love someone .. that guy will be funny
He has the best perspective I've ever seen on any topic he's spoken about... Especially race.
Chappelle, Burr, Rock and Chris Porter are probably my current day Mount Rushmore of comics. By current day, I'm probably talking 2007 and after.
No Louis CK?
Dave is a legend
Dave does not get the recognition he deserves! Funniest man alive!
The secret to comedy is preaching your truth in a way that others get it
His name was Clayton Bigsby
Ahh man, its been too long since ive heard that name.
Greatest sketch of all-time. If you think there is something funnier please show me!
Why did Clayton Bigsby divorce his wife?
Show us your face!
Do not forget his other name chuck taylor
Love you I Dave ‼️✌️❤️
Chappelle app lmao! 🤣🤣👏🏽
fr ! the goat
LONG LIVE CHAPPELLE!!!
If bill say he's good then there is no left to it...
All the funniest guys in the game give Chappelle the "CROWN"
Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr are the greatest
Naaa dave chappelle is the goat everbody know him nobody know bil burr in the netherlands
Favourite Comedy Sketch = Dave Chappelle Show (Season 1 and 2)
doesnt get better than dave bill burr is the second to me i can watch any of these 2 forever just waiting for eddie murphy to come on stage tho
Well that fucking settled it!!!
Why are all comedians suddenly talking about Chapelle all at once or are Google algorithms attempting to manipulate my reality 🤔
did you just add watermarks to video you dont own
Real recognize real
Dave Chappelle is created for comedy. Pure quality.
He’s the greatest of any generation.
Greatest to ever do it
Can I get a link to the shirt that guy is wearing at 2:03?
Louie, Burr, Chappelle the greatest alive imo
I would quit my job if Dave Chappelle mentored me in comedy
Dave Chappelle as Reggie in Eddie Murphy's nutty professor.
Women be shopin.
Hilarious!
Even Katt.
Bill made a few appearances on the Chapelle show. Rewatch the ethnic draft.
And the law & order one
You favorite comedians favorite comedian
The shit that dave went through at 15 doing comedy is fucked up but he survived
I remember watching Chapelle Show and wondering, who is this funny as hell Irish looking guy in all of these skits. And today Bill Burr is a house hold name in comedy.
MY Mt. Rushmore of comedian's.....
Carlin
Eddie Murphy
Norm MacDonald
Dave Chappelle
BILL BURRR
Norm MacDonald...WTF?
Chappelle, louie and bill burr
Kat Williams lives in a dream world.
I love Dave Chappelle but I just love Eddie Griffin
Dave Chappelle is a savage
My top 3.
1 Dave Chappelle
2 George Carlin RIP
3 Bill Burr.
3rd place is kind of a fight between him and Robin Williams
I was born in 87
@Australiantatious oh no. I agree completely. Only watched a couple of his movies. I've seen his stand up. It was and still is amazing.
Patrice O'Neal
You should try Bille Hicks he's great aswell
Ralphie May
Any top comedy list without Pryor is immediately dismissed. He was the Chappelle of his day.
I love it when Dave Chappelle lays the truth out. He touches the topics nobody else dares to touch. Do the preachin' and the teachin', 'cause soon people're gonna do some leachin' to the facts--'specially when they're this funny.
Comedians and Joe Rogan talk about dave
If Billy Blue Balls gives you praise you know the mans good
Dave Chappelle is the fuckin king!
Katt was right as soon as chappelle came back to the scene he was undisputedly the best one active once again
Dave chappelle himself is quite humble too he considers richard pryor to be the best
Clayton Bigsby was a nickname a black hitting instructor gave me when I was still playing baseball. I never got the reference until I saw the skit and because of that it's probably my favorite skit of all time. I'm a white guy living in one of the most liberal parts of the country so it is fucking hilarious that he would call me that. I'm not explaining it all for you guys but if you think about that, the concept of him being blind and me not understanding was great continuity that added a personal aspect to the bit for me.
Dave got Beefed up too good for him
