jheeez this is so interesting. Imagine the technological progress we're gunna witness in the next 20 years. It will start with cars, then move into the energy sector as we start increasing our electricity consumption. Fast forward 40 years and I'll be flying to get my meal deal from Tesco.
Does the telematics data from our cars get correlated with data about us from other sources and sold to businesses for marketing purposes? If this does occur, it could cause people a lot of distress, making some wonder if they are losing their minds. Think lawsuits.
I'm surprised Bloomberg cares so much for government mandates of the system. Let the market decide which is better if the government gets involved we will be stuck with standards that will be obsolete in less than half a decade. Government interference only stifles innovation unless they are handing out money to do research to develop new technology.
Once you put this concept into reality, you will find the 5G communication is only the smallest part of the complete cycle, which means the latency is not improved too much😄
Wifi is better and realible option for long run wifi is power efficient and wifi tower is compact where it can be attached in street light 5 g tower is bigger in size installation is difficult 5g also requires more tower same a wifi for long range .wifi is easy to install any where and easy to setup and remove
5G.... What I've heard, the mmWave that's in or around 35GHz, doesn't fly very well. Like a node every 1000 feet or so. I live in Wyoming, and I-80 is 402 miles long going through the State.. A Mile is 5280 feet. So, we would need 2123 nodes. That's on a perfect day, if all nodes are working correctly. If a node happens to be down, it crashes the entire string... I don't know guys, I'm cautiously optimistic.. The idea is really cool though! 😁👍
You're right. 5g is stronger but shorter distances. It would take a major coordinated infrastructure push like when the US first made highways in this country....but I'm with you. Still skeptical and I think we've been duped and many ppl are becoming "tech woke". I hate to word it that way but it's true. ppl are realizing how much hype they were sold and how it didn't pan out. No jetpack. No hoverboards. No cancer cure. No HIV/AIDS. NO flying cars. No smart highways. No reliable VR. No trips to Mars. Not much of a future except a billionaire going to "space" and a phone that is....fast with a nice camera.
*I just built a fully driverless Lexus and rode to starbucks for under $1000.. haha forget all this fanciness! Here's me surfing the roof along the way. **ruclips.net/video/2nm8fBio_-A/видео.html*

Huh, interesting point of view
By "market" I assume you mean "corporations" who only care about profit and not about the lives of pedestrians/cyclists or even people inside a car.
Why save more lives when they want less people?
The Circle!

Stick it where the sun don't shine. So how they going to connect my 1980 Harley to this shit lol
C-V2X = 33 .... V=22, 2, X=24. 2+2+2+2+4=12. 1+2=3. C=3....So, 33.
Very interesting insights!
Be cool for new tech or device !
If cars can self drive do you even need a license 🤔
The Modern Web no, you won’ need a license.
You'll still need ID.
Joseph Huang you don’t need a drivers license to ride in a taxi or Uber or bus. Nor will you with self driving cars.
