- The public has expressed it displeasure with the pace at which construction of Kampala city roads is being carried out.
The roads, which were due to be completed at the end of the year, were contracted to China Railway 18 G, but the road works remain incomplete.

Thank you Ivan youre doing a commendable job sjowing ugandans the level of road network devt
Thanks
Wow amazing bro well done ❤❤I love your videos
Ivan Sterling is a great road construction company with a formidable history of excellent work. It's up to the Ugandans to maintain the roads. Otherwise great vlog well done
🇬🇧
We will probably have major road construction ,reconstruction and maintenance works for ever...
Your generalised comment about the quality of fly over road project may be misleading ....the road works in terms of design ,material and strength look really fine. The road width as you point is an issue of compensation....most of our funding agencies have advised KCCA to work within available road width in the short run bse of the ridiculous amounts of money private owners of land ask for compensation....
Naye usafi market they just started working on part not even 4 months but you saying years, Do you know the construction period ? Remember, it's a drainga channel that needs time for long-lasting since it's taking a high volume of water. Otherwise, your complaint has no point this time around but thanks for update
The Usafi drainage Channel constructions started late last year
@@ivanatuhairwe it started at the beginning of February 2024 after namu summit
Where’s Queen’s Clock or tower, moved to?
Road construction in very urbanised areas quite alot of work ...KCCA has alot of drainage works to do bse Kampala is largely a wetland...and the comparison with the Entebbe projects costs and delivery times needs to be fairly understood from that point of view...
Is the queen's way going to be widen into another lanes?
Having wrong people in authority is what is costing us as a country can you imagine paying for a road for 40yr whose life span is only 15 yrs? What type of playing is that??
There doesn't seem to be much development there after more than 50 years of Independence. Do they have a government in that place?
Egypt is making 500 kilometres in less than a year... Uae takes 6 months same kilometres.. why here they take century?
Is the queen's way going to be widen into another lanes?
