Eid Mubarak balloons are for a Muslim important holiday - comparable to how important Easter is to Christians. Just like Orthodox Christians are supposed to fast during lent, Muslims fast during Ramadan, which ends in Eid, a big celebration and the breaking of the month long fast (morning to evening). Catholics use this time to give something up during Lent. Mubarak means Blessed and Eid is the celebration. There are two Eid holidays - here is a Link to explain a little more in detail. One of the very cool things I observed when I went to Egypt (where my mom/dad/grandparents were from as Egyptian Armenians and lots of relatives still live there) is that we got to be there during Eid and it was amazing - I can't wait to go back, it's beautiful, the people are like jewels - so friendly and humorous and welcoming and I miss the food and everyone treats you like family.
I am a Muslim and I am from jordan to add on this comment its a celebration we're family members get to see each other and pray eid prayers which is In the very morning men go around to relatives houses and women stay at the house sometimes welcoming other guests and kids get money from their parents and other family members celebrating the end of the holy month if ramadan I hope this helped ❤❤❤❤❤❤

@@louprice6715 don,t worry you had overall good informations but i think your friends told you about how it's done in their culture. for example in mine to two eid are called the small eid and the big eid, it's the beauty of the cultural diversity in the muslim community.
20:06 its a muslim tradition called eid its actually on wednesday 28 june its when children wear new clothes, special pastries are baked, gifts are exchanged, the graves of relatives are visited, and people gather for family meals and to pray in mosques.
The crimping iron is supposed to be for the roots of your hair to make it fuller not for your whole head of hair I do believe. Also the tiny catchup and mustard would be for a lunchbox, how cute for kids or even your husband or wife. I do know people are not happy with Temo because they use child labor, whether that’s true or not I’ve just seen it in many videos of people talking about them.
@@MamaW30 i’m not too sure that she didn’t burn it, I feel like when she goes to wash her hair she might find out she’s missing a hunk or two. I thought the same thing how dark it got around the edges.
@@amazon4111 I am pretty sure that wasn’t the brand Valloom but it’s the same shape to achieve the volume. I mean when she did the rest of it it was turning frizzy immediately it wasn’t made for that I don’t think.
The green "belt" with rings at the end is a back scrubber. The Tiny Condiment bottles are for packed lunches, so stuff doesn't get soggy from sitting for hours with the sauce on. The large bags are disposable sanitary liners for massage tables. you typically put them under a fabric sheet and they keep people from Sweating through to the actual table and make cleanup quick. The little gizmoes at the end of the Purse hanger bag: on the right are hanger doublers, thread the hook of a hanger through the hole then hang another hanger from the little hook. Very useful for hanging up stuff like a 2 piece set. on the right it's hard to tell with them being in package but they look like zipper pull extensions, but they also might be clips that go around a hanger bar to pinch a slippery piece of clothing with magnets so it won't slide off. In package 30 that was a potato masher not a meat smasher.
the pink "straightener" is for adding volume. You separate out the top layer of your hair and then crimp right at the roots of the hair underneath. It adds volume and then you flip the top layer of your hair back over the crimped hair so you can't see the texture Edit: Maybe Hope will try it in a TikTok or a YT short
“The new wish” is perfectly put. I’m in so many bridal groups and everyone swears by this website but everything I’ve ordered has been paper thin and smelly lol
I got a lot from there and it's actually pretty cool. Just don't be stupid on the website, I brought some trainers from there, a decent pair of shoes, I've brought house supplies which we use everyday. Clothing and yes it's thin but perfect for hot weather.
The squishy thing with the cat on it goes in the dryer with your clothing to collect pet hair. I love them for drying our sheets and blankets because those always seem to attract fur!
I've never wanted to shop Temu, I consider their ads darn near harrassment, and now I want to shop there even less. BUT, I love all of Hope's reactions to everything. 😂
Agreed!! Have you seen the ad with the gal in the whitish wig selling tgeir free headphones... they show a quick shot of the checkout screen and it says China Union Pay. That is a card payment service for Chinese nationals. But I consider it a quick remibder that suckers are sending money to communist china and giving temu free reign over all their private, ID and financial information, in exchangefor a whole lot of cheap plastic junk.
I was impressed to see the Lenovo earbuds those are actually in a brand they’re not high-end but they are a namebrand available at other stores which I didn’t think Teemu carried. Also just an FYI that sleep cap was something that usually folks with textured hair would wear to protect their hair while they’re sleeping or lounging. Also I really like the waffle iron hair tool. I would not use that every day but that would be really cool for like Halloween or a costume or something definitely giving off steam punk warfare fairy core vibes!
I just wanted to thank you for not doing what everyone else does in these types of videos...where ¾ of the video is them opening the packages and then talking about each item forever. You got right into it and flew through each random item, spending exactly as much time on each that they deserved. Well done, my friend, well done! 👍
@@sanityseekerOf course I understand why a review video would go into the products much deeper, but those aren't the videos I'm referring to. That would be comparing apples to oranges, which is pointless. I'm talking about other lost package and bulk return type videos that I've seen elsewhere, that tend to spend a ridiculous amount of time simply opening the shipping packages, and then spending way too much time talking about the random items found inside. I'd rather not spend 10 mins listening to someone say things like "What even is this thing?", "Why would anyone buy this?", and "EWWWWW! GROSS! IT'S DIRTY!". I get that some people enjoy listening to other people carrying on like that, and that's fine, to each their own...I'm just not one of them, so I wanted to thank her for creating the kind of lost packages videos that I enjoy watching. That's why I said "thank you for not doing what everyone else does in *these types* of videos". My comment was comparing apples to apples.😉
One thing I love about Hope is that she gets to the point without a long introduction instead throughout the vid she explains and introduces the vid ❤❤
9:55 soap dispenser and thermometer. Did you use hand-foaming soap? The item requires foam soap. I have this item in my guest bathroom. I love it. The item brings an adhesive sticker to stick the item to the wall. The item indicates the temperature of the room in celsius and fahrenheit.
I always wonder how exactly these packages are considered “lost” when clearly somebody finds them and sends them to some site to sell and they likely have an order slip with customer info inside.
The large plastic (that you thought was for a mattress) is actually a cheap drop-cloth. Some use it for painting but usually for covering furniture when you are going to be working in the area doing something like sanding that will kick up dust. Also, I'm surprised more people aren't talking about how shady Temu is. They are famous for losing packages, so I guess we know where they all went now? Oh well.
@@teilly5253 yup I typed the same comment about those liners. They are liners for the tubs. I bought some for exactly that reason. Some ignorant person commented on my comment that it was drop cloths and what I said was untrue. 😒 How you gonna tell someone who ordered and own that exact product what they are?🤣🤣🤣🤣
Temu is shady because they're definitely using the same low wage, and most likely child labor, sources for their products like Shein/Wish. However, it's definitely not their fault that the shipping company loses the package or people steal them. I didn't have any issues when I bought from Temu before, but I live in a fairly rural area and the UPS drivers know which one is our house
Wish, Shein, and Temu are on my never shop list. I haven’t heard anything ethical, eco friendly, or long lasting from them. It seems like they all just pump out cheap stuff and make more trash for the earth. That doesn’t stop me from watching these videos though!🤣🤣
Temu is completely different than the other two. They are 3rd party shops who work out of warehouses like Amazon, only out of China. So think of it as Chinas Amazon.
Me too. People making this stuff make poverty wages and it's mostly a bunch of stuff that you don't really need and will throw out sooner rather than later.
I get your point and valid opinion however I did order some really nice stuff from SHEIN (lots to be honest) that I have used when redecorating my bedroom as I was on a really tight budget and I have had it all for well over 2 years now.
At 15:14- The curved pieces with the holes go over the hook part of your hanger to hang another haner from. In essence, "doubling" your hangers. Often used to keep set pieces together.
I can't get the image out of my head. I wish I didn't see that. I'm not sensitive to much but I can't do that phobia. My head tingles, body gets itchy, it's so bad. 😭
The way you slowly said "they're called Len-novo" (3:13). 😆 Do you not know that brand? I'm pretty sure they're one of the biggest consumer electronics companies in the world because of their laptops.
I got the mini screwdriver set to replace 4 really old mini screwdrivers that were so hard to use and its great, has loads of heads to fit different screw types and sizes (for glasses, battery packs etc) that fit into the handle and also has an extension piece that clips into the handle in different sections so you can adjust the length and everything is stored in the great compact box. ❤
I got sucked into Temu once and regret it. One thing I was curious about was why the Tarot cards were so cheap. I bought a set. They were cheaply made small versions of the real product. I don’t think it’s legal tender. I worry about the working conditions of the people who make these products especially the stinky plastic stuff
I love when you post new videos. You are the best person you give back so much. There are so many other influencers that take every brand deal and haven't given back to their followers or even community. Sooo if someone hasn't told you ,you are a beautiful woman inside and out and wanted to say thank you for sharing your life with us. Also love ya leo
I really enjoy watching her videos but I will never understand people who say things like this. Is it because you desperately want likes on your comment? (Another thing I will never understand, btw. It's not like they do anything for you). You can't really believe that she "works so hard for us", can you? You are aware she gets paid very well for this, right?
@@ericaosborne5241i believe that people actually do try hard for their viewers, however some do get paid, not all wish to. And they have to earn money to entertain us, correct?
@@yummurder Its perhaps a little silly, because there are tons of people in essential work who work much harder that dont receive the amount of praise that youtubers get. Sure youtubers put a lot of time into their channel to entertain us, but its not HARD compared to most careers and nobody should really be head over heels overwhelmed at how "nice" they are for making so many videos in said amount of time.
@@Ready13 Who said that I dont apprectiate other workers, just because Hope is a youtuber doesnt mean that im trying to put other jobs down by praising her. So the balloons said “Eid Mubarak” (20:20) which is a Muslim cultural event which they celebrate twice every year ( like easter or christmas) I think the crimping iron is specifically used in under layers of the hair roots to like give them volume (maybe) like you crimp the underlayers of your hairs and than like brush them out? The mini ketchup and mustard bottles are really cute they can be used for lunch boxes or while travelling maybe?

That collapsible net with the pliers and Fanny pack actually all works together! It was totally bought by a fisherman to scoop up fish after luring them in. Pliers get the hook out of the mouth, and the little bag would be perfect for lures.
Vacuum bottles are intended to keep your items hot or cold for extended periods of time because of the double wall and vacuum seal (several hours to days). The ones on Temu aren’t quite the same as what you would get from a company like Stanley. But they are actually quite useful for road-trips, camping, or hiking.
It's great to have an honest opinion about different products! You really saved us from many bad purchases in a fun and entertaining way! I love your videos!❤

Wait I missed it can you describe it to me my new washing machine is horrible 5 cause 4 dogs my laundry is covered in hair mine and my daughter hair also agin wort washing machine ever!!!
I actually got one of the little egg whisker things in the next to last package. They are SUPER useful (just handwash and do not let water get in the handle).
The little hard things that came with the purse hanger are to maximize hanging space - you can stack hangers in your closet. The weird jelly circle with the cat is to pick up pet hair from furniture. Everything I’ve ordered from Temu has been great! Super cute sunglasses for $1.50? Yes please!
"they refunded me and told me to keep the item" basically tells you everything you need to know about this website and how it's more expensive for them to have it returned and refunded than to just refund the items and have it be kept by the buyer. and as we all know, the main reason they can offer cheap prices are low wages for their workers and high production numbers making it not only an unethical but also environmentally problematic company.
In my case, they offered neither. I ordered 2 of the same Lego figures for my kids and my daughter ended up with one with 2 of the same side and so it wasn't usable. They told me just by another one, no replacements! 1 other package came with a broken item, also very small, and well be trying the return prices soon. Hoping it goes better this time.
@@supergirl0526 Then the companies blame the public for them having made so much and lying it is we ruining the world. Same with cutting down rainforests to plant palm trees for palm oil - while they have vast quantities which will go rancid before they can sell it all. It doesn't matter when such large businesses make losses. The owners intend them to so that they can write off money from their other companies and so avoid taxes. Also many businesses are solely for money laundering. Even some globalist coffee shops in the High Street. I know what it costs to run such a business on the precinct near us, and no way are they making anything but a loss. Not with coffee shops. Same with some recent Turkish men's barbers. It can be a fun distraction to watch a video or two such as this very occasionally, but I wouldn't condone buying that stuff, and so cheap that we know it's slave labour, including the slave labour of even small children maybe only old enough to start school in our countries.
Those plastic bags that you thought were for covering furniture are tub liners. You use them to line your tub then fill your tub and after your bath just throw away the liner and not really have to scrub your tub. I think it's also helpful for bathing in other people's tubs and hotels or bathing your pet.

the very long sock-like tubes you said "are probably for something really specific" are gun socks for storing rifles and pistols so they don't get bumps and scratches. often these socks will be infused with some sort of lubricant so as to prevent rust
I've noticed that temu is mainly a gimmick store. When I first joined I got 10 free items and it was so hard to pick enough items because they weren't entirely practical or it looked sketchy. I have been misinformed by my Muslim friends 😅

All the other junk we get from China, no doubt child labor is involved. Unless you buy only Made In America.
I was going to say that… about using the iron on the under layers and roots just for volume 😊
I was screaming at my phone when she put that on her hair for more than one to two second because it will fry your hair off.
Those flowers are called Blooming Bath for sink bathing your baby. They're amazing!
In package 30 that was a potato masher not a meat smasher.
arent you fun at parties
Kudos! I hope she reads the comments, cause so many things she dismissed just cause she didn't know what they were...
the pink "straightener" is for adding volume. You separate out the top layer of your hair and then crimp right at the roots of the hair underneath. It adds volume and then you flip the top layer of your hair back over the crimped hair so you can't see the texture
Edit: Maybe Hope will try it in a TikTok or a YT short

Well, that's the point of those videos, to review quality for interested buyers. This is a novelty video meant to be fast paced. 🤷🏻♀
Oh well.
The one she was showing are actually used in bath tube. For ppl who wants to have a soak but don't want to lay in the tube, normally used by renters.

Yeah they are for the tub and they are great . Except for the plastic waste 🤷🏻♀️
Temu is shady because they're definitely using the same low wage, and most likely child labor, sources for their products like Shein/Wish.
Right..watching this gives me so much anxiety about the amount of plastic and waste in the world
In my case, they offered neither. I ordered 2 of the same Lego figures for my kids and my daughter ended up with one with 2 of the same side and so it wasn't usable.
