Some of the carpets that come to our center are due to flood damage, and some are due to sewage overflow damage

I had no idea that videos about cleaning carpets was even a thing, and I'm glad 'the algorithm" pointed me to one. Oddly and extremely satisfying seeing the colors emerge from under all that mud. I have to wonder how they got into that condition in the first place. It's almost like they spent 10 years on the bottom of a river. Very very good work!

Either the rugs were purposely soaked in mud for demonstrating their cleaning skills or the rugs was salvaged after a storm or flood.

I wish in the UK we had more people like yourselves who see the value in restoring items so they can be reused again, sadly lots of things in Britain are just thrown away and that is bad for the workmanship within the items but also for the environment.
There is also something far nicer about having an item that has more history.

I know this are expensive rags so the owners must be paying a big amount to have them cleaned but my mind the whole time is screaming water bill especially from @10:20 to @11:18, I was thinking stop hosing just let the dirty water drain first then you can pressure hose the soil like he was doing from @12:51
