  • Automation of glass manufacturing has historically been reserved for mass produced moulded parts with runs stretching from 10’s of thousands to 10’s of millions. Glass Solutions is changing this perception with the invention of automated processes which are cost-effective even at volumes of just a few hundred units.

      Probably similar shit as this in china or a bunch of people in unsafe conditions working for barely anything making shitty quality stuff. I don’t know about that brand but try to stay away from china glass support your local glass artists.

      large scientific style glass is typically made in a lathe and a torch but a person would be behind the torch controlling the speed of the lathe as well as moving the torch, using hand torches and marvers to shape the glass. check out ruclips.net/user/revereglass they have really good videos if you want to learn the process.

      @@b4ds33d yeah i understand that now my question was how do they make mass production bongs that i would assume look the same with defects here and there, i would think they use molds, but from my googling i could not find anything definitive, besides for silicon bongs

    • @b4ds33d
      @b4ds33d 2 года назад

      @@speedsnake785 no molds, just exact timing of the robotics and temperature sensors that tell the algorithm when to puff air/increase temp/move the lathe chucks apart. They use cheap glass so that adds to the lack of quality.
