Thank you for these videos, very insightful. On the first board, I think there may be a way to make an overtrick. When east returns the D9 at trick 5, if you pitch a S, then play SA and a S ruff, then give up the last trump, ruff any return and play off your trumps, west is caught in a S-C squeeze. (Edit: just realized that LHO is east and vice versa)
Hi; Brilliant! You are quite correct. There is a club-spade squeeze against East (on the left). I make these videos to help players improve their game with a focus on Beginners, through Advanced. We occasionally find an exotic (cool, nifty intriguing) element to a hand, but I am reluctant to include some of the more complex examples, like squeezes; I don't want their eyes to glaze over!
