Thank you for taking us on your evening stroll! The light was just amazing! Plus the dogs, cats, squirrels, little libraries...what more could you want? 😊 PS. Hi Shawna this is Alicia (lisa). Such a lovely wander! I want to say Autumn in Scotland's is the best time! However, there's its Winters. Some may be darker and a bit gray at times and if lucky get a nice bed of snowfall, and with Christmas festivities and cozy nights and mornings at home with hot tea and porridge it makes you want be inside of a home with a big frosted window view of it's cold starry nights. Then, when Spring peeks in after the winter, that change is refreshingly so welcoming! The birth of new flowers and fresh green grass on its rise to Summer! Then Summer will pop in and all will be in its full bloom ..the transition is breath taking and vibrant! I've always said that Scotland is one of the countries where all four seasons will NEVER disappoint And I have yet to visit there! haha. I know when I do visit it will be very hard for me to leave it! Scotland has my 🧡

Aaaah! Another delightful walk around the charming streets of Edinburgh! As well as a peaceful walk through George V Park. It is really beautiful there as well. One of the things I love most about Edinburgh is, & what you pointed out while going down that one Street, Shawna.That you can see majestic Edinburgh Castle from almost everywhere. It always appears in so many places, just snugly & gracefully sitting high upon the Hill there! That iconic View is amazing & always thrills me! Truly, Edinburgh's signature & iconic View! Indeed! I also really loved the charming Georgian Style Town Houses along those certain Streets where you walked.
Especially the ones with the wrought iron fencing with all the pretty Plants hanging along the fence. My favorites, though, are the downstairs Apartments where you go down the steps to get to them. Then they have a sweet wee Patio, like the one you filmed here, with cute Patio furniture & more lovely Plants. I just love those! I would love to live in an Apt like that. So charming! Then last, but certainly not least, were the two cute wee dogs peeking out from behind the Post there by Tesco. Adorable! Well Shawna, this was another delightful experience in your beautiful "Home Town' of Edinburgh! Thank you for sharing it with us! Blessings to you!
Nice video - you go past my flat on East Claremont St on your way... During the first phase of lockdown when all the bookshops and libraries were closed, the Little Library on Scotland Street was where I got *all* my reading material. Still make a lot of use of it - should drop 'Cloudstreet' back by it today
That's too bad about 'the Lincoln Highway,' two stars in rough, but it's understandable why you wouldn't want to DNF a book by an author you like, earlier this year I had the same vibes from 'Klara and the Sun' >_
