I've unlocked this GPU from 192mb to 512mb and overclocked a processor a little bit (i3 4150 @3.50GHz now at stable @3.80GHz). The performance that I get within GTA V, GTA IV, Far Cry 3, Hitman: Absolution [note: even Hitman2 is working somewhere near 20fps, which is amazing!], NFS Payback, The Crew and many more is amazing! I couldn't believe that this integrated GPU could do these things.
yeah, there's barely any difference between these cpu's, only at clocks. Make sure you're running on dual channel for the igpu and have an ssd for those painfully slow loadings.

If you have money to buy an i7 4700, you are not going to play on the integrated graphics, it is a matter of logic. This comparison would make sense if it were an i3 processor, perhaps even an i5, because surely if you play with an HD 4400 it is because your cheap equipment came with that configuration and has little room for improvement.
The logic is, that in all of our videos is to show the maximum potential of each GPU . But in this case NO. The HD 4400 will be the bottleneck in every situation even in i3. And it will perform similar if not the same in almost all games no matter if it's i3 or i5 i7, (except in very rare cases when newer games included that actually support DX11 almost all are DX12 and require more threads then 4) What it does matter how your system is optimized and cooled though. I7 4700 on aliexpress is around 70$ and an i3 is 35$, that's not what we called Big money difference around here. We're absolutely sure about this since we tested them far to many times, Ivy bridge, Haswell what not...

I am referring to laptops and All-in-One equipment, which in many cases do not even give you the option to update them because the CPU is soldered to the motherboard. It is easy to say "buy an i7 on Aliexpress", but the truth is that people who have to play with an HD 4400 graphics, possibly do so because they have no other option. And I stick to what I said, if you have money to buy an i7, it is because you had the money to buy a desktop PC and not one of those computers. Because if you have an intel hd 4400 as your main card, it is surely from a laptop that you use for work, or an inexpensive PC that was bought for the children to do their homework.
It should perform roughly the same. We tested it on highest end i7 mobile variant which is same if not better then i3 4130. Depends on thermal managment but expect similar framerates.

. I'm sorry to hear that you had difficulty running Resident Evil 3 on your Intel HD 4600. I had to adjust the settings a bit to get it running properly on Intel HD 4400. I lowered the resolution and graphics settings, and disabled some of the advanced graphics options. That seemed to fix the flickering issue.
Unfortunatelly D2 Ressurected isn't playable on HD 4400, But there is a way to be , it's to find the early access version of Diablo 2 ressurected. At first it was playalable on DX11 cards.

I think it's going to bottleneck. Because RAM 2GB and 4GB speed are different (even thou u can run it). I suggest u to upgrade RAM with the same speed, I mean if it has 1600 speed, then u should buy the same speed too. CMIIW.

Hmm, In general with these configuration there are 3 major factors to consider. 1st) biggest differentiator is the Memory (RAM. "Dual channel memory" - IGPU are dependent of Laptop ram But if it's Single Channel (single slot of ram) you roughly should loose around 30-40% of the GPU's performance. It's just how it works unfortunately. Even having 4+4 or 8+4 or any dual stick will lead to more performance then single stick of RAM. Hopefully you have 8+8.^ 2nd) Thermal throttling: Having a thin laptop and clogged with dust can result in a lot of issues (or just closed wents), reducing the performance further by alot. So primary objective you gotta find a way to keep your laptop cool . If it's new laptop some of the following suggestions are not required. 1) you can open it and clean it thoroughly (follow some guide for your particular laptop on youtube) 2) 2) easy fix would be raising your laptop so it can breath air 3) 3) also second easy fix, blow some air with a straw or directly put your mouth to the air vents (i know it sounds weird but it should clear the copper passive cooler. 3rd)System optimization: one should try and keep the system out of bloathware and erradicate/ remove unnecessary apps running in background, so they won't engage the processor. If that doesn't work, system format/reset should be done. We usually do once in 5-6months-1year. It's highly recommended & everything above that is just slowing the system NO MATTER How Good you take care of it. As for drivers. They are mostly the same unless it got corruptes down the road by a miracle. In that case or in any case a driver should be installed this way Any driver would just work fine on each GPU as long is one of the WHQL drivers downloaded from manufacturers website, no matter which year or date (They just add support and optimizations for newest titles) 1) What can be done is to install DDU (Display driver uninstaller).. > boot to safe mode, uninstall ALL possible graphics card drivers (including amd or intel base ones) > Reboot to normal windows and install the latest ones downloaded from Nvidia /AMD website. 2) 2) If this doesn't work, Check the temperatures. Also one last word of advice. Get To Know about Undervolting. It is the best thing about these new processors/laptops. It might be abit complicated but it will raise performance in general , cool the laptop and lessen the battery consumption.

In my country there is a bazzar where you can find ditched or 2-3rd hand electronic devices and hardware parts for practically nothing. But 90% of them are broken or not working. So We're buying used HW parts (those who are working, those that are not fixing them) and Puting them to the test. After that we usually sell them for cheap.
Obviously you will be able to run GTA 5 on Intel HD 4400 because you have an i7 processor with 16 GB of ram people having Intel HD 4400 will mostly have an i3 processor with 4 GB to 8 GB of ram

Cricket 19 can be played on Intel HD Graphics 4400, however it may not run as smoothly as it would on a higher-end graphics card. You can find more information about system requirements for the game on the developer's website.

Hmm you shouldn't worry, If you're using windows 10, it automatically adjust the required Ram to allocate to your needs, Ignoring the bios values. So even if it says 64 or 32 or 256mb (i believe max Bios value is 512), ingame it would use more. You can check with downloading MSI afterburner and turn on On Screen Display with values for your Vram. Hope this helps ^^

Probably yes. I have i5 4310m 8ram and hd4600. In the standard version of the game in 2011, I have the same fps on the lowest settings.
