- Only 2 days left until we get new cards but today I decided to explore a deck with some old favorites. This was one of the first Jack decks I ever tried, but I never realized just how strong the Bellows Breath + Thrall Bulwark combo is. Clear the board while giving one of your units huge stats and end the game with Brash & Overwhelm from your champions.

Honestly, champ spells shuffling them into your top 5 cards seems kinda interesting, but it definitely sounds like a bug when it always shows up next turn.
Teemo beating aurelion is very fun, I did it using gale force + double guardians orb

Random question Snnuy, but how would you feel if the useless Nidalee landmark would be changed to let your Shadow in the Bushes have spellshield when they're in the bush but it gets removed when they transform.
I know that Nidalee is seeing some play now, but would you think that this would be too toxic? (honestly I just want that card to do anything else for ambush decks)
That would not be played right now since the ambush deck is all about tempo and would limit design space for ambush cards in the future
yeah i agree with this comment, it's a tempo deck and there's no way they spend 2 mana "do nothing" instead of just playing another unit or keeping mana for a combat trick
i have no idea how they could fix the card, maybe make it a unit instead with the same aura lol

At 13:16 why does Jack get +1/+2 instead of +1/+1????
The Barknuckles placed on Jack should've increased his stats to 5/6, but, due to a visual glitch he was shown as a 5/5. Because it was a visual glitch and not a functional one, when his stats got changed by the Ornn spell, his visual health went back to the correct amount which was 6, making for yet another visual bug, showing +1/+2 instead of +1/+1. Not an error with the cards, just the display.

23:00 Maybe a nerf to sump would be instead of taking no damage all damage is set to 1? (And the mushrooms are based on total amount blocked)
(I.E. 1 dmg doesn’t plant shrooms but 5 plants 4 damage worth)
That way you can still kill your opponent even if you low roll

There is a better interaction with bellow's breath. If you manager to put a funsmith on board and cast the spell. It Will double the double hit, dealing 4 instead 2.
I actually used the thrall bulwark Bellows breath combo a while ago. It’s the funniest with the 6 cost financier noxus card (I don’t remember the entire name); full board, wipe. This combo is being slept on, please pin this comment.

31:03 My dude, it's a 1/1 on token with +1/+1 tokens on it. It's a mf 1/1 army get you a clue, there is a 5 drop option after the 1 mana to choose. That is a 1/1 use your brain as a teacher would say.

I don't think LoR is going anywhere.
Their monetization model might not give them very big profits, but I would be low-key surprised if I heard they're at a loss.
And my personal opinion is that we are a small but passionate community and we're noticeable enough that Riot most likely wouldn't want to antagonize us, especially if we tie in with the LoL community (through people like Necrit and the playerbase that came from LoL to see their champs in a new light), which is their core audience. And shutting the game down would be very controversial. It'd really have to bleed money like crazy for that to be excusable with a company as big as Riot. Or they'd have to openly communicate for an extended period that the game's finances are going terribly. Because players have invested their time and/or money into the game; everyone knows it's all temporary, but no one wants to be the company that reminds players of that fact.
