BMSEDG 35: Pan reactivity - When is an auto not an auto?

The Biomedical Scientist Empowerment, Education and Discussion Group (BMSEDG) is a virtual group aimed at those working in Transfusion, brought to you by the Patient Blood Management Team at NHS Blood and Transplant, hosted by Danny Gaskin, Selma Turković, Anas Nasir and Sasha Cooke.
We meet on the last Wednesday of every month and an expert speaker is invited to deliver a talk on on a special area in transfusion.
This session is delivered by Sarah Lewis and Nicci Wilkes of RCI Birmingham, NHS Blood and Transplant. In this session, Sarah and Nicci focus on four patient cases to show how pan reactivity can present within referrals to the RCI laboratory. Nicci and Sarah highlight how different laboratory techniques can be utilised to resolve these tricky serological cases.
