I pre-ordered the 4090 yesterday. Some of the things I'm curious about trying out are :
Trying dldsr on older games.
Trying dldsr + dlss with frame generation games to bring framerate within my OLED 120hz refresh window
Trying Skyrim special edition and fallout 4 with 24gb of vram. I'll actually have 4k modding freedom now.
Actually so fucking jealous lol, the same 2 games I'd pick hahah try cyberpunk aswell if you havent already
DLDSR (+DLSS where applicable) is amazing at clearing up all the ugly blur from modern AA & post-processing.
And it really is something else on a 4k 120hz OLED. You won't be disappointed.
Curious how’s the 4090 I’m planning to buy one with either a c2 or an Alienware oled, how you finding 4k 120?

I will already tell that the 4090 is a beast at 8k. Way betted then the 3090, but please god do not try ark at 8k with a 4090. Probably the 5090 will be 60 fps at 8k on ark. 4090 is console experience on ark at 8k.

I don't know if this game is Super Demanding or Just Unoptimized but, either way. It's making the 4090 look like a Mere Mortal which is crazy.

I have a question to ask and a great curiosity. today I ordered a similar gpu, but I see your thermal result barely passing 40 degrees, and I'm in shock. you made any changes to the thermal paste or undervolted. ? I'm a big fan of yours. if it doesn't bother you could make a video showing the msi afterburner of your settings. Thanks
I haven't made any modifications to the card, it really does just cool that well. I can tell you the settings I am using. +100% Voltage, +175Mhz Core Clock and +500Mhz Memory clock. As for my fan profile I have a maximum speed of 85% and fan will go from 70% at 50c all the way up to 85% at 60c. Good luck with your new GPU

It's not impressive to create a product with shit optimisation. It's fine to have a demanding game, but it needs to be doing something impressive to justify the performance cost. This could almost pass for a PS3 era game.

ark 4k 60 fps omg the day finally come! so many people complaining it look bad, yes, its a youtube video with bad compresion XD sometimes looks people its conspiring or just stupid. I play the game 1440p and i tell u that look like 1080p to be generouse.
the game is so unoptimized look at the cpu percentage its barely using any, thats why so low frames, the game engine they used only dependent on gpu, bad development
@@razergaming4172 It's using an old version of UE4 and at the time was still a top tier game engine. I've done multi-threaded programming and there are some things you actually just can't multi-thread.

Well, it's official! ARK is the most demanding game on the planet. It's crazy to think that this game from 2013 is harder on the GPU than many games of the 2018-2020 era.

suprim X is overpriced.. Go with a Tuf non Oc.. OC gets you basically nothing for the extra $100 and the Tuf OC is a extra $200

This is weird. I have a stock 4090 FE working in my PC and with Ultra Preset (zero adjustments) in 4K and maxed out resolution scaling (btw is this 110% scaling then or what?) I do not get below 60FPS. I use VSync because of my 60Hz Monitor. With stable 60FPS my GPU usage is around 90% with avg. 320 watts. So there is still a lot of room for higher FPS.
Tested it today. Maybe a new driver has eben released since last week?

Ah I just realized you have distance field ambient occlusion (which is not included in Ultra Preset) activated. When I activate it, my FPS also drop between 50 and 60. This setting alone probably eats around 15-20 FPS, crazy….

Cause the devs basically launched a pre-alpha in steam early access, but then the game blew up and they never bothered to do any more work to the core engine.
Because of the jurassic drivers they use
the game engine only using gpu for entire processing, look at the cpu its barely getting used thats sign of bad development

This game just completely and utterly fails to make proper use of all available CPU cores, which is not true of CyberPunk.

4090 is not slow kid, this game from 2017 is one of the worst optimised games with unimpressive graphics. 4090 gives 120+ fps at 4k maxed in recent games without dlss, check out reviews.

@@Bang4BuckPCGamer haha, i have played the game since it came. I know what is wrong. Does not matter what you throw at it. I dont think i have ever seen a such unoptimized game before. Everytime i buy a new high end card and cpu. Performance in Ark is the same. Last time, i did a few launch commands. that helped. Was trying to find exactly the setup i did last time on my 3080ti and the 3090. Gained more fps, and was rocking more then you had now
