The newspaper used to print out a song with the lyrics & chords every Sunday - I had a whole notebook of those things! But a channel like yours would've been heaven "BackintheDay"!
This is great. I like the way you simplify this arrangement. I remember hearing this about the same time my brother inlaw purchased a brand new 1970 Chevy elcomino SS 396 cu inch 4 speed blue with white strips . Me and my mom got to ride in the back of the car bed at centennial Park. I was 6 years old at the time. This song was playing in the car . This brings back good memories for me .
thanks for this ! this sounds like another one of those cool 1 4 5 D G A 12 bar blues tunes ! i am going learn D G and A and D minor heptatonic scales and pentatonic scales and arpegios and modes so that i can improvise some cool solos and blues riffs on this tune ! lol :) i am AUSTISTIC and i am PROUD OF IT !!!!!! :)
I tried playing this and couldn’t do the rhythm at all , I play a lot of songs but none never right except my Originals. I have tried that d u did u or what ever they are or d dud d u ,made no sense.just will never do it right.
Hello. Have you tried to slow down the RUclips video player settings? You can slow it down in the settings(the wheel) and then play it back at 0.75 or 0.50 or 0.25 percent of the original speed of the video. I hope you can work it out. All the best. PtG :-))
@@PlaythatGuitar I just tried it a couple times and didn’t get it, I have been playing 40 yrs. I play proud Mary,Have you ever seen the rain, many Neil Young songs . I was self taught to do it all wrong and I still do except for my music .
Then...try to break down each individual chord with only two downstrokes per 4 beats and 1 downstroke in 2 beats for the fast passing chords that come by. Try this for the whole song and if you get it right then try to play some upstrokes in between. Overall it should be something like D D UDU D DU D DU. I hope you will get it right. :-))
