Ikr, I'm a defender, i only defend because of my height, i have tall legs and my body is weak so instead of contending with others using my body, i use my legs. I find defense boring but seeing van dijk totally changed my opinion

Van Dijk dominates all of that at perfection, he is one of the most complete CB ever. Either way, you cant compare this two players because they don't have the same role, Ramos is a man-marking defender(though he's bad at it) and Van dijk is a sweeper/positional defender

The thing is, Liverpool's chance creator are from the fullbacks, so if the opposition are giving a hard time for Trent and Robertson, they struggle alot to create as that was their source of chance creating. And that's the reason why we bring in Alcantara, to pull the strings, control the tempo and creating chance from midfield as there's another option to do so if the fullbacks are struggling in a game.

Also, we lost our captain in the process it's hard to protect the backline as well but those lads on centre backs are settled in at the back end of the season and put on a proper shift in to secure the top 4 so I'd say it's a good job for them

The thing that makes him the best defender is the way he can made a tackle so accurate. If he would be off by 1/10 of a second or a cm he would get some red cards believe me. You can clearly see most of the opponents accepting they have been humiliated, instead od fouled. They would be 'crying' if someone else would tackle them like that, they know with Virgil that he just outplayed them, with ease. Not mentioning the obvious, his speed, strength, passing and leader ship qualities.

The thing that makes him the best defender is the way he can made a tackle so accurate. If he would be off by 1/10 of a second or a cm he would get some red cards believe me. You can clearly see most of the opponents accepting they have been humiliated, instead od fouled. They would be 'crying' if someone else would tackle them like that, they know with Virgil that he just outplayed them, with ease. Not mentioning the obvious, his speed, strength, passing and leader ship qualities.
