  • In this session, Massey University shares insights on their Course Incubator project which is a course redesign and student support intervention model. It is part of their initiative, Pūrehuroatanga - collaborating to drive diversity access equity excellence across our university.
Teaching and learning is one of seven learner success capabilities that underpin a whole-of-organisation, learner-centred operating model.
The capability is described as the implementation of learner-centric instructional design, meaningful professional development, and learning environments and contexts to be effective and culturally conscious, including kaupapa Māori-designed environments.
It focuses on learner-centred instructional design and creating culturally affirming and safe learning environments will support learner success.
The Tertiary Education Commission, alongside the tertiary education sector, hosts a series of learner success capability sessions and panel discussions. These knowledge building sessions aim to better connect the sector and share insights.
