Former Walt Disney Studios chairman Peter Schneider introduces a sprawling alternate opening (pieced together from a studio storyreel created before the official voice actors were cast) and story supervisor Roger Allers does the same for a deleted scene (composed of storyboards) involving Belle's exploration of the Beast's library.
I'll bet if Don Bluth's Version of Beauty and the Beast did happen, it'd have included Belle's Sisters and Suitors in the 1st Cancelled Disney Version as among the main Don Bluth Villains.
Now I would have like it if some villagers wore the colonial suits, long hair or white wigs. Same applies to Lumiere (but keep his red hair) and Cogsworth (change his wig white). This would have complimented the 18th Century style of the film. I prefer Gaston as he looks in the Final Cut, same with Belle, Beast, Maurice and Lefou.
Same here though same time it’s probably just me saying this but if it were up to me well…for the final version just to remain as much true to the fairy tale as possible:
1. Have Belle and Maurice as originally rich until ☝️ of Maurice’s inventions gone wrong cost them their fortune.
2. Maybe change Belle’s aunt into Gaston’s mother and keep their last name LeGume.
3. Keep Clarice
4. Have Maurice pluck a rose for Belle🥀
5. Keep the Bimbettes as close to Belle’s nasty sisters like in the 2017 version.
@@tymotekaitis3872and also, not only the villagers would have looked more like 18th Century noble, but they could have keep Lumiere in a rococo suit, Plumette with long hair and Cogsworth in a white wig (brown in Enchanted Christmas)

If I may say so, Aunt Marguerite, the Beast Prince's Father, Belle's Sisters, excluding Clarice, Belle's Suitors, including Gaston and his brother, and Forte are the real menaces.

My own personal dark Disney Headcanons
Pinocchio - I imagines Lampwick’s mother name to be Mirabella and her job is a seamstress explaining why he has better clothes compared to most other boys. She is motherly, religious, moral, strict, protective, concerned, hard-working, tough as nails, worrisome and wise. She was also bit of a rebel/flirt when she was a girl. Her likes are her son, Christianity, good behavior, being connected to the dead and honoring her country. Her dislikes are bad behavior, her son being missing, wars, criminals, people who don’t learn from their mistakes, gambling and her past girlhood’s mistakes.
Tiger Lilly - What if Captain Hook and his crew secretly killed Tiger Lilly’s mother who protected baby Tiger Lilly in hiding her in berries bushes and created a distraction by running away where her daughter was? The pirates arranged it to look like an animal attacked her which explained why Tiger Lilly’s dad and the rest of the Indians didn’t seek revenged when they went looking for them. The truth remains secret to this very day.
Aurora’s family - Yet I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem But if I know you, I know what you'll do you'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream - Do you think Aurora is like Cassandra or Joseph King of Dreams? Her dream with her mystery man Philip did comes true. Also, do you think that Stefan and Leah pray to God or turned to some magical users for a miracle child?
Philip’s mother - Do you think that Maleficent or some kind of evil magical user killed Philip’s mom when he was a young kid? It could explains partly on why Philip is brutal to Maleficent. He doesn’t hates magic considering that he trusts the good fairies but that doesn’t mean he going to turn a blind eye to magical users who abused others with their magic. I imagines she was a sweet plumb jolly woman who similar to Hubert enjoyed fun but knew when to be serious when it was needed.
Belle’s sister - What if Belle really did had a younger sister named Clarice but she died young like their mother?
Moana’s brothers - What if Moana really did had several brothers who secretly went on a quest when she was very young but everybody assumes that they died which explain even more why Tui is paranoid about anybody going into the water (besides his childhood friend’s death).
I love watching Disney's Beauty and the Beast very much.
I'm also guessing Bella would've been a Soprano, her Middle Sister would've been a Mezzo-Soprano, and her Older Sister would've been a Contralto in the Don Bluth Version.
They kept and used the lady on the swing in 2:54 idea in Frozen’s For the first time in forever song.
I'd so have equally loved Belle and Clarice if this version was still in the Final Film.

I definitely feel like giving the town more historical looks would've helped Belle's less historical design stand out by making her seem "odd," and they could've included Clarice by making her only slightly younger than Belle and thus the "normal" girl that fuelled her insecurities and feelings of lonliness.

You know, Disney could have made a series for Beauty & the Beast, and I know they were planning on it, but the scraps of it became "Belle's Magical World", but imagine if someone were to take the original movie, some of the sequels, and every bit of source material that exists for the franchise, including the deleted scenes, the Broadway musical, the Kingdom Hearts games and the 2017 remake, and transformed it into a serialized series, that begins where the original movie started, shows everything that happened while Belle was at the Beast's castle, from altered versions of the stories in Belle's Magical World, The Enchanted Christmas, altered versions of the Beauty & the Beast parts of the Kingdom Hearts games, pieces of the Beast's past from that one book and the 2017 remake, the revelation of Belle's mother's death, up to the moment the Beast gave Belle the library, then the final episode would begin where the second half of the movie took place, with additional scenes from the Broadway musical, the 2017 remake, and a new version of the ending that isn't a reuse of the Sleeping Beauty ending.

I was thinking the same thing only to have the first movie end Sleeping Beauty style and move forwards as the titled characters travel the world. Who knows? Maybe have them run into Ariel and Eric if it's not stretching too far.
Also give LeFou the characterisation that Josh Gad did as that guy was just too good for Gaston as Mrs. Potts puts it.
Yeah it would make the scrappy sequels canon, because narratevely they don't make sense. In Belle's magical world the beast is an entirely different character.In Enchanted Christmas the Beast appears reading a book while he cannonically cannot read, apart from that Belle is not the same character as the 91' movie
@@alexiacaceda1421 In all honesty, I feel like Belle’s Magical World was written before The Enchanted Christmas was thought of, and the events were probably meant to take place before then too, but poor planning made it not make sense. And in all fairness, The Enchanted Christmas was made before the decision to reincorporate Human Again into the original movie. Also, if you think about it, including the Beast’s backstory in the 2017 film in the original’s continuity would make sense, because why else would the Beast give Belle a better room to stay in as atonement for not letting her say goodbye to Maurice? Empathy, empathy because he didn’t get to say goodbye to his mom properly when she died.

Well no offense, but good riddance to Aunt Marguerite, Belle's Suitors, including Gaston and his brother, Belle's Sisters, excluding Clarice, the Beast Prince's Father, and Forte forever, I'd say.
If I were to choose for the final version it would be to keep:
1. Margurite as Gaston’s mother
2. The Bimbettes as really close to Belle’s nasty sisters like in the 2017 version.
3. Belle and Maurice as still originally rich until they lost their fortune by 1 or Maurice’s inventions gone wrong.
3. Belle’s concept dress
4. Gaston in blue for his wedding proposal
5. Keep Clarice

The DVD had the best and most natural colors. The 4K Blu-ray color looks slightly better than the HDTV, but it's still a DNRed + AI mess
